I know that Mastercard and Visa don’t like them based on their oppressive policies.
I know that leftists in America that get into key positions of translation for videogames and anime think it’s okay to censors the artists works while calling the artists themselves (often times female artists) sexist and misogynistic. And end up censoring either the looks of the comic book characters or censoring their way of speech. These people ironically believe that stifling an entire culture’s art and way of exhibiting their free thinking is not “racist”
Myself, I can hate an entire group of it’s stupid enough. But I’ve yet to see a group I’ve disliked, been against, or hated, ever being classified within the realm of a single race.
However I’m acutely aware that the Japanese do not like the Chinese and the feeling is mutual the other way around. It is considered an extreme insult to refer to a Japanese baby as a “China doll” even though this is a common turn of phrase that is used as a compliment in most cases of western civilization. It carries extremely negative connotations to the Japanese due to their detest for China.
I know that Democrats have created unfair biased policies against Asians in America. When they implemented certain DEI programs within the scholastic system, it caused for Asians to have to perform higher than all the other races in order to get a passing grade. They created this system based on “averages” which is honestly a reprehensible way of doing things.
So I would say there’s definitely systematic things places for racism and unfairness to still exist even to this day. And it exists in cultural aspects as well.
An increase and surge of crimes against Asians occurred after Black Lives Matter gained momentum as a movement in America. Instances occurred where blacks suddenly felt emboldened to attack Asians within communities where I suppose they wanted to kick the Asians out. This invoked the “Stop Asian Hate” protests that followed.
My point being that I take issues with organizations such as BLM, DEI initiate groups such as Sweet Baby Inc, and other disingenuous NGO’s that attempt to use race as some kind of virtue signaling as a means to underhandedly be a front to actually repulsive behaviors. BLM as a corporate entity purchased by George Soros from a woman who originally created the slogan and attacked Hillary Clinton for her statements and policies she had taken against black people, was then used to serve as a divisive machine with only I’ll gotten intentions.
I can hate Black Lives Matter all day long and it in no way contributed to me generalizing and hating black people. I watch black conservative entertainers, political commentators, podcasters, Christian influencers, musicians, and general informational contributors (cooking channels, gardening, product reviews) who just happen to allium with me on the political spectrum in believing woke ideology being pushed in every product is poisoning the product in a case of “if it wasn’t broke, why were you trying to fix it?” So I quite enjoy listening to them express their thoughts freely with a specific candor, that you won’t particularly get anywhere else.
And though I used BLM vs. actual black communities I participate in with regular support. The same applies for all races that I’m aware of. I watch a myriad of people because we’re in the age of the internet meets technological capabilities , where connections are made online and we are able to witness others creativities, passions, and world views through the power to share and upload videos on multiple platforms to speak about certain issues, hobbies, interests, or whatever the topic they decide to go with is. It just so happens to be that since I am rooted into geek culture I end up finding a lot of people from all races who are just as angry and upset with the “woke ideology” being driven into every last form of entertainment available. And through that mutual hatred for these issues, it becomes apparent how easily bonded people become and how much it’s based on common interests or issues that people align with and not racial heritage that creates two separate groups that usually argue with each other.
I love All Asians. My daughter goes to school with a bunch of kids who have parents from India and learning from people from India has made me a better mother actually. And I know that I would feel the same way if I was around east Asians too because I admire how education is so important to the whole continent of Asia. And I wish we as Americans had more Asian values in our lives.
To be completely honest, I find it almost impossible to lump enormous groups of people into one category, and then make a definitive statement as to whether I like them or don't like them. I can do that with a government, perhaps...but people are individual and I like them or dislike them based on my personal relationships with them.
In college, one of my favorite friends was a Korean guy - we had a blast together. Now I work with a few and interact with many from different countries, both male and female - I like them just fine.
I was taught to accept people as I find them, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, etc. That’s how I’d want to be treated. So I’ve had friends from all groups.
I love Asians! When I was in Jr High, my best friend in the world was a Vietnamese girl and I used to sing this goofy song to her about peanut butter and jelly & she would just laugh & laugh!! Finally she learned the words and sang it back to me!! 🥹
I like Asians a lot, got me quite a few who are friends on here. Although there is one I messed up big time by thinking she was from another country. 😬🤭
Nothing wrong with Asians, but your numbers are vague. China is 1.409 Billion people (largest communist country) and India is 1.451 Billion people (largest democracy). So excluding these two countries. ALL other "Asians", 46 countries, are 1.748 Billion people!
@Guardian and your point? her numbers weren’t vague at all. They’re accurate. If you add China and India and the rest of the Asian countries, you do get 4.5-4.6 billion people. So please tell me how you thought your comment was relevant?
I don't like them. First there's too many of them. Why would they make that many. Plus they even have brown Asians. Plus they are small, they can fit in small places. They are super smart in math things. And making cheap copies of famous brands. Finally. They are way smarter than the average person. Even small children know how to speak Chinese. The hardest language!
