Has anyone gone to the police if they have been cyber bulled online?

One of my friends was being cyber bullied really bad and threatened by the guy.... It was BAD BAD. the summery is that he wanted to force her to marry him
So we went to the cyber police and they just told her "well marry him 💁🏻‍♂"

I once did. I was threatened by someone from another country. We had been chatting for a long time. But it changed from friendly to nasty and threatening. I found a police department in his country that was specifically for cyber crime. I contacted them. Didn't hear anything apart from a confirmation. But half a year later the police payd him a visit. They didn't actually do anything but it was enough to stop the threaths. And if he does anything else, they know how to find him.

haha no not for online bullying. But my ex-fiance hit me, and I called the police on him, who respectfully, escorted him out of the home. And then he came back 20 mins later haha

Can't they block them? Or are they viciously stalking harassing them?

Unless its a really serious deadly thing its not really a police matter?

And what would you expect the police to do?

No. Unless it's very well documented and you know who it is I wouldn't bother or maybe you should if you are attempting to build a case for a restraining order
