Lust is instantaneous. It is fleeting. It does not lead to love. :Love is more lasting. It may be forever. It is the result of commitment, work, trust, and a whole lot of other feelings. I choose love over lust any time. Any other questions?

When you say lust, you mean Eros or Ludus depending if it's casual or not. Think of the english word: lude.

English messes up the whole thing by combining everything into one word.
