I totally agree. I'm disgusted with the new, liberal feminists, and do not support their man-hating agenda. I like being a woman, I like men, and I've never in my life felt discriminated against for being a woman. The modern feminists seem to be like the race-baiting minority advocates, creating a problem where none exists.

Equality? When will that happen? Men are required to sign up for Selective Service (military draft registration); women are not. Women make up 60% of college students, are awarded child custody 85% of the time, account for less than 10% of work fatalities, about 20% of homeless, etc.

I know this was a response to @IronHamster, but I thought I'd address it anyway.
I think you do need to think more about what I said in relation to masculine women, or at least women who would like to be more masculine, generally being the type of women who would be attracted to leadership roles, or to professions that would ordinarily be dominated by men. If this is the case, then of course these particular women are going to be less empathetic than some other women, who say aren't interested in being leaders. However, I still do believe that women aren't as compassionate or empathetic as you believe them to be. It does require empathy to mother children, but we know less women are having children now, and that is only one consideration. Outside of the relationship with children, what do we have to say that women are more compassionate? Especially ones who are attracted to power. Even if they didn't wish to be more masculine, they'd have to be in order to be able to fulfill their duties in those roles.
btw, maybe you should consider the female monarchs of Europe, as they were more likely to go to war than male monarchs. Many women, all over the world and going back thousands of years, have been brutal leaders.
Why don't you compare the number of wars started by men in the history of humankind to women. You might fight a disparity....

@SW-User Fair points, but....I would say that by virtue of being a mother, those women who are...are far less likely to send other women's children to war. But I would submit that the women who have succeeded in leadership positions have all done it in a man's world. I'm saying....what if it were a woman's world. What if...instead of having to be a faux man (forgive me) we had an entire world with more feminine values and therefore more female leadership.
I'll look into the female monarchs....if nothing else it's an interesting thought.

@originnone I'm not sure how much women care about other women's children, but I think you're overestimating it for many of them. More importantly, women who are leaders are not mothers, because those two roles aren't compatible. I'd add that women in leadership positions are usually more wealthy too, and they tend to bond with their children less because they rely on others to engage with them and help provide their care. A female president or prime minister would have hardly any time with their children, and if they decide that is less bad than not fulfilling their leadership duties or keeping that role, what do they have that is truly feminine? They have managed to fulfill their biological purpose, but emotionally they have nothing to offer to their children, and they can't be distinguished from men who lead.
As I said above, power and femininity aren't compatible. If you have more feminine than masculine traits, you wouldn't want to lead.

@Selah That's cool. Any woman can be a hypocrite but no woman can grow a cock, balls, or Y chromosome. Peace.

Using the associative property of equality: if A = B, and B = C, then A must = C. Therefore, the following is true: If women are equal to men (A = B), and men are pigs (B = C), then women are also pigs (A = C).
Oh look, another whiney incel post.
@graphite Shut out or not noone is entitled to sex. Look at the definition of an incel.
If you're throwing shade at me I still get hit on.
Yep. A lapdog-like simp who women of course won't find attractive.

@IronHamster Yes, In relative sense there is no wage gap.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@ABCDEF7 In what other sense do you perceive a wage gap between men and women?

Feminism is wanting equality for women, not wanting women to reign supreme over men.
Absolutely correct. Both sexes occasionally lose sight of that fact. And you’re right, generalizing that all men are jerks by virtue of their sex is sexist.
Some women are indeed sexist, towards men and towards other women. I can’t believe sometimes how many "jokes" that insult women are posted here by other women. I always wonder if the women are "pick mes" trying to impress men, or if they’re actually that stupid. 🙄

Boys, boys, stop arguing about us girls.
Okay, I just wanted to say that.
On a serious note, we need to recognize that being equal to each other is not the same as being different from each other.

You just realized this, they only want equality at the top executive and management jobs you never see them saying equality for women who drive trash trucks, construction workers, brick layer, or any blue collar work. And the wage gap is a joke on how they reach the numbers. The wage gap is based on irs record's now this doesn't take into account the average man works 45-60 hrs a week this is 5-20 hrs of over time. Average woman works 0-10 hrs of over time this alone makes the 10-20 % pay discrimination they talk about.
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
Absolutely.
Somewhere along the way, we seem to have lost sight of what it was intended to bring about….Equality.

I do not see that kind of generalization about men on here except when someone is expressing exasperation about the all-too-real disgusting behaviour of all too many men.
graphite · 61-69, M
@SW-User Why can't men behave perfectly, like women? 🤣
SW-User
@graphite In my experience as well as lots of other people's there is much more obnoxious and disturbing behaviour of (some) men toward women, than of women toward men.

forced compliance/acceptance of any form of "equality" only furthers resentment and mistrust
