Victimhood politics.

@ABCDEF7 Women do get played by victimhood politics. Case in point, the wage gap, long proven wrong, but perpetually played by liberal women.

@IronHamster Wage gap: Bunch of nonsense. Men work more hours, work more years, work the dangerous jobs (thus accounting for 93% of workplace fatalities) and don't take years off to raise children. Thus they make more money, which is then spent by women. This, we're told, oppresses women, not men. (A big cause of the wage gap: Women giving birth to babies and, doggone it, they love these babies so much they put their careers aside or even give them up completely to devote themselves to these babies. This MUST stop if we're to be free of the "wage gap.")

If women get paid less for the same quantity & quality of the work, then why don't all companies hire only women and save money?

@ABCDEF7 Jordan points out how feminists only point out disparities at the top of the power pyramid - CEOs, billionaires and elected politicians - while ignoring the billions of powerless men at the bottom of the power pyramid: war deaths, prisoners, etc.

IronHamster · 56-60, M
@ABCDEF7 In what other sense do you perceive a wage gap between men and women?
