What makes something sentient to you?

ooh no i love turtles and i'm not fighting for their non sentience but just they don't have the higher intelligence or awareness to get reflections

@redredred like ai who don't have the concept of loads of black and only know the thousands of moves programmed in for checkers?

If it doesn’t have the concept for black it seems it can’t really learn the concept of black so it doesn’t fit my description.@popmol

@redredred well in the future ai might learn it but thats why i don't consider is sentient yet.
