we have a 3rd option no one seems interested in...nikki haley...why??
@lpthehermit 1. The cult only wants the Gorious Bloated Buffoon

2. Dems know for a fact Biden can beat trump. Done it before and that was BEFORE the coup...election cheating...convicted as a rapist....and 91 felonies (so far)

So neither side wants her.
Ynotisay · M
@lpthehermit For Democrats it's obvious. She's a hardcore Conservative who will bring pain to other people. For Republicans it's also obvious. They're a fear-driven, brainwashed portion of the electorate that would never vote for a woman.
joe438 · 61-69, M
@Ynotisay In November, she said “The second thing is, every person on social media should be verified, by their name. That’s, first of all, it’s a national security threat. When you do that, all of a sudden, people have to stand by what they say." So rather than use your chosen handle here so that we don't know your real name, would you be okay with having to, by law, use a traceable login?

She's not a true conservative or interested in protecting personal liberty. That would be the deal breaker for me.

Biden's doing an excellent job of making America great again after the Trump disaster.
BLP11520 · 61-69, M
@boudinMan your comment nailed it
@joe438 says
Remember that COVID shut down things worldwide and individual countries decided how to reopen.
Sure, Covid came from outside. And different leaders in different countries managed it differently. Trump's piss-poor Covid management is made clear by the relative per capita death rates.

All through Trump's term, our Covid per capita death rate was DOUBLE that of countries like Canada & Germany, resulting in about 550,000 Covid deaths under Trump.

If Trump had handled Covid as well as, say, Justin Trudeau, we'd have had 275,000 FEWER DEATHS! Put another way, Trump's mis-management of Covid cost more deaths than THREE Viet Nam wars!! Three Viet Nams in a SINGLE YEAR, not spread out over ten years like the actual war!!!
"I look at it this way," Birx told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. "The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially."
BTW, to the extent that Trump gets a pass for Covid, shouldn't Biden get an equal pass for the worldwide post-Covid inflation?
@boudinMan says
funny how trump had 0 charges against him for anything before he became president.
Look a little deeper please.

- Before Trump became president, he AVOIDED charges of mismanaging his "charity" by paying out $2 million and promising never to run a non-profit in NY state again.

- And, before Trump became president, he AVOIDED charges of FRAUD by shutting down "Trump University" and paying out $25 million.

- Trump Tower was built using undocumented Polish laborers to demolish the building that previously stood on the site. At trial, the workers testified they worked without basic safety equipment like hardhats and gloves and they were supposed to earn $5 an hour from Trump’s low-bid contractor. But court documents show that for weeks, they were paid nothing.

ABC News reports in which numerous witnesses were interviewed showed that Trump knew about the undocumented, unpaid workers. Yet under oath, Trump testified that he knew nothing, thus adding perjury allegations to the labor law violations.

- Trump is alleged to have violated immigration laws in hiring foreign models for Trump Model Management. These models worked illegally, and he failed to pay them fairly. Two of the former Trump models said Trump’s agency encouraged them to deceive customs officials about why they were visiting the United States and told them to lie on customs forms about where they intended to live. “It’s like modern-day slavery,” one model told Mother Jones. Senator Barbara Boxer has called for the Department of Homeland Security to investigate Trump for human trafficking
in relation to Trump Model Management.
Biden is just doing a terrible job alright. Its all mentally he can do to give us..........

1. the best infrastructure bill since Roosevelt.....
2. the highest market every single day that it ever has been....
3. more job creations in 3 years than the last 3 Republican presidents COMBINDED (look it up).....
4. higher wages across the board from minimum wage to unions wages.......
5. taken the U.S. out of a war someplace for he first time in 3 decades...
6. .reduced the prices of insulin for everyone and 12 other dugs.......
7. lowered drug prices for seniors across the board.
8. HE HAS NOT PLAKED EVEN ONE DAY OR GOLF.........
9. or spent 3/4 of everyday doing Twitter rants on everyone from our veterans to deceased Gold Star veterans........to .EVERY court and lawyer and judge that keeps beating him down.......to the DOJ...the FBI.....SCOTUS......he even disses his main butt lickers.... FOX "news" (choke).
10. And now he is ready to sign a border bill the GOP has been lying and saying we need for 3 years...................but guess who is blocking it now? Trump's buttboys obeying the Fuhrer's commands.
11. Highest corporate profits in over 70 years........the end of WWII.

Want more????

Yeah Biden is doing just horrible because he's so old. ;-)
@boudinMan Yeah....a CONSTANTLY rising market ALWAYS means every one invested in it loses money. DUH. 😂 🤣 If YOUR 401k went down....not shocked. Mine and everyone I know in my investment circle has made 5 digit returns on our investments for the last 3 years. Did i make money under trump.......very little as compared to the last 3 years Ten of the largest single day market drops EVER recorded came during trump's 4 years. Every gain made under trump became subject to a loss when the market nosed dived under trump....unless one was savvy enough to invest to avoid the single day catastrophes that hallmarked trumps time in office.

Now lets go down your line of your other misinformed cult standards.

The old tired favorite of Biden only put COVID workers back to work.

Trump lost on average 59,000 jobs a MONTH during his last two years in office. His total job deficit in 4 years was -2.9 million jobs. So lets look at COVID job decreases vs job creations under Biden. You like factcheck.org.....lets use that. As of October 2023 Biden has created 13.9 million jobs. So if you can't do that math.........one lost 2.9 million jobs and the next one created 13.9............and you think all Biden has done is put laid off COVID workers back to work??? ;-) No wonder you have no idea about numbers when it comes to your investing. Looks to me like there's a 11 million job difference, don't it? In Biden's favor. https://www.factcheck.org/2023/10/bidens-numbers-october-2023-update/

You are correct if one factors inflation .........OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS.....wages have not kept up with inflation...OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS.. However that is looking at a high of just about 9% inflation........factored in.....skewing those numbers. If one looks at inflationary numbers NOW vs wages..........with inflation back down to what it was in 2009. that statement is no longer true. Now wages vs inflation at 3% is a lot different than wages vs inflation at 9%. That makes it hard to spot the "bad economy" trumpers say we have now when the Super Bowl is sold out at $8000 a seat and every flight is booked to every place months if not a year in advance. The vacation industry is making the highest profits they have EVER.....EVER....recorded. In fact lets look at what "inflation" is. Inflation to a trumper is a sign of a bad economy. In fact 99% of all trumpers have referred to this economy as a "depression". The exact opposite of what it is. Yes things cost more...................but WHY? The WHY is because people are spending more money that ever.....because they are making more money than ever. More jobs---less unemployment and higher wages....equals more spending. Spending more money into the system......easily and fast means that the demand for products exceeds manufacturers ability to produce them. And when demand exceeds supply............manufacturers raise prices because they know the public is willing to spend to get what they want. So prices goes up when supply exceeds demand....Economics 101. Incidentally that desire to charge more and more and more than manufacturers did just a few years ago is called "GOUGING", not inflation. When the Fed raised rates....what did they say? They had to COOL OFF a too hot economy. A "hot economy" is NOT a "bad economy" like the fear mongering GOP tells stupid people it is.

Your next ill informed (I was kind and didn't say stupid) comment shows just how little you know about what you are talking about for equipment "left behind" in Afghanistan. That equipment was the property of the Afghanistan Army....it was NOT ours. It was NEVER ours. We were in Afghanistan SUPPOSEDLY to train their military so they could take over protection of their own country from the Taliban after the Russians left. That was the cover story at least by Bush Jr. The real facts are when Viet Nam didn't work out as a place for our future bases so we could monitor China and Russia........a new spot was needed close to both. So we moved into Afghanistan to "help them create an Army of their own". An excuse for the U.S. to have bases back in that region again. To cover up that bullshit we needed to OUTFIT an army.....to train. Meaning..........the budget for 20 years included buying and GIVING new and obsoleted military hardware and equipment to the army we were "training". The stated goal----U.S. government story under trump for why we were leaving Afghanistan was that their army was ready now to handle it on their own...........so we could leave. trump's idea was when we pull out...the "trained Afghani army" would use all of that equipment they now knew how to use to make sure we could get out safely. BUT...........as soon as we headed out the Afghani army dropped rifles and left 100% of all THEIR army's military guns and equipment set and the Taliban simply took it. You are clueless. Obviously...................but you have now had 4 years to READ.........and grasp that that tired assed story of "Biden gave it all away" was a lie on day 1 and was debunked years ago,

And now lets look at how "innocent trump is of stealing from both of the charities I said he did.......This from Snopes......

"In June 2018, then-New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood sued the president, his son Eric and daughter, Ivanka, along with the Donald J. Trump Foundation charity. Underwood wrote that:

"For more than a decade, the Donald J. Trump Foundation has operated in persistent violation of state and federal law governing New York State charities. This pattern of illegal conduct by the Foundation and its board members includes improper and extensive political activity, repeated and willful self-dealing transactions, and failure to follow basic fiduciary obligations or to implement even elementary corporate formalities required by law."

As a result, Underwood asked the New York State Supreme Court to "dissolve the Foundation for its persistently illegal conduct, enjoin its board members from future service as a director of any not-for-profit authorized by New York law, to obtain restitution and penalties, and to direct the Foundation to cooperate with the Attorney General in the lawful distribution of its remaining assets to qualified charitable entities."

Specifically, the attorney general asked the court to bar the president from running any New York-based charities for 10 years, and the other directors for one year."

The trump family paid $2.2 million dollars to the State of New York as restitution for repayment to both charities to compensate for funds the trump family stole from both charities and later diverted to his campaign. In January 2019, Letitia James took over as New York attorney general and continued the state's case against the Trumps.

Now do me a favor......................refute ANY of my post. Hint...........you can't unless you lie some more.
@Handfull1 I think it's fair to blame trump for the 10 biggest single day market drops ever. I mean consider that statement. If EVERY SINGLE ONE of the biggest markets drops ever in history of the DOW happened under ON MAN's watch......then logically that ONE MAN is why. They never happened before trump and they have not been matched since.....even close.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@MaBalzEsHari I was referring more to Covid but I get it!
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
Is Trump's brain up to the job? That's the more important question. Trump destroyed the integrity of the Office of President Siri during his tenure from 2016 to 2020 and will do it again if he is elected in this year's election (and actually wins the electoral college vote tally).

Trump's central position in his first stint in the Office of President Siri was to completely cut off and isolate the USA from the rest of the known universe. He attempted to create North American Korea.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@MaBalzEsHari that's right, trump does want to close the border, unlike brain dead biden, who so far this fiscal year has had nearly 1,000,000 illegals border encounters. ineptness at its finest and you support it. LOL

trump had the border under control, biden undid everything he accomplished on day one. so, no, the GOP doesn't own what's going on now, biden does. for three years his administration denied that there was a problem with the border, now magically (and incoherently), it's trump's fault. you took the bait, like all fools do.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@boudinMan Trump wants to isolate the USA from the rest of the world and turn it into North American Korea. Trump did not have border control under control - his loony Mexican border wall was a joke and farce from day 1.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@zonavar68 no, what he wants to do is quit allowing other countries to take advantage of us. and, yes trump did have the border under control. you saying otherwise is a total fallacy.
If the US election options end up being either Trump or Biden .... shame on you all , in both parties, not being able to choose a younger and more capable candidate. Shame on both parties for not having worthy younger candidates who are able to have enough support to run for president.
@wildbill83 I have the same claims about my own PM not preparing the next generation of leaders which is one of many reasons why his party will lose the next elections
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters younger leaders tend to be too naive & idealistic... a fatal flaw in todays world.
@wildbill83 I'm talking 50s , not 20s

MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Joe Biden was an idiot even in his younger days. No one actually voted FOR him, they were just voting against Trump. Now we have a mess like always.
@MrSmooTh Facts seem to really upset you. 😆 🤣 My bad. Lets talk about real things you all believe in. Like Lizard People...baby BBQ's for Dems and "i won". How about the Storm? Hows that going?
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
@MaBalzEsHari Wow. You think I'm upset? No, that's just level 1 not giving a shit and expressing how worthless your opinion really is. Imagine if I kicked it up a notch. You are just more or less evidence that natural selection is a very real concept.
@MrSmooTh Shocker............natural selection "IS" a very real concept. It has been for billions of years. (Easily found fact if one knows how to read) . We can see examples of that everyday. Normal people tend to shun cult members.........and cult members seem to seek each other out.....to interbreed with their own.

Look at a typical rally............have you seen anyone there that DON'T believe absolutely EVERYTHING they are told by someone online named Q ....or because they watched a 4 minute YouTube posted by "an obvious expert on everything from epidemiology to political science".........because that beats actual education? That's natural selection at work. Deplorables gravitate to deplorables. Normal people gravitate to normal people.

nowadays? A 8 year old could have outwitted joe in his prime.. Granted if a 8 year old was around Joe, he would be too busy touching and sniffing them but the point still stands, he has always been a complete moron

That question pre supposes he had one that's operational
@biandlargeny maybe 10years ago he did but dementia is there for all to see 🤷🏻‍♂️ he shouldn't be in charge of his medicine let alone America
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
He's probably not actually that dumb. It could be a farce so he doesn't have to answer questions or seem all that responsible. The idea of him being a sweet old man that eats ice cream makes him endearing to the public, even if he is dumb. The few times he's had to debate Trump he was on his A game. I don't think George W Bush was dumb either, he played up a goofy character and Dick Cheney portrayed himself as the evil guy that was in his ear.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@Tony2sugars I'm saying it might all be an act
Lila15 · 22-25, F

Doesn't take much to be president then, I guess that would make Trump easily outwitted by a 2 year old? Since they too are known to throw tantrums and role about in their own feces.

It’s looking like the options are the feeble extortionist versus the delusional megalomaniac.

We need a stronger third party. 🫤
@Adogslife We have a third party. Look at our Legislative Branch..............Democrats, Republicans and MAGA trump butthole licker obstructionists.

joe dont know where he is half the time shakes hands with the air and is useless as you know what on a bull
@MaBalzEsHari In Trump's defense, his brain is severely damaged.
@BohemianBoo Think about it.............do you know anyone who isn't obviously mentally impaired to his own doctors and other around him that was ever given a mental competency test...........just for the hell of it? If he was not obviously slipping ....why would he even asked to do that test by a doctror? Have you ever had a physical and a doctor told you he thought you should take it?

He may say he "passed it".......but one does not pass or fail a dementia test. It is just a marker of how well you can do mental things...as compared to the last time you had that test...............and if you recall he bragged about 2 years ago he "passed" that other one he took too. He keeps talking about how hard it was. A neurologist on TV last week said if one complains how hard a test like this is.............then obviously he is already in decline and remembering even simple skills is what is hard for him to do.
