I had a recurring dream of driving along a narrow mountain road with a girl by my side. A logging truck comes around the curve and forces us off the side of the mountain. It didn't scare me until my girlfriend went to college in the mountains and all of our dates up there were on narrow roads. The dream continued until she graduated. Scared me a lot.

I heard a noise outside my window at night that woke me up (or so i thought). I sit up and turn my head to to the window and see a black shadow walk by. I wake up from hearing a noise outside. Im in the same house but the drywall is all cracked and the air feels thick and musty like its been abandoned for years. I feel a presence close to me. I wake up from hearing a noise outside. The house is dilapidated, theres a howling sandstorm outside, the entire town is abandoned and decaying theres a shadowy figure standing over me. It holds out an object wich kind of resembles the outline of a an old lantern. My body becomes paralyzed i start pray to god in fear becauase im helpless. It lets out a hum like a chant under its breath and a single drop of something fall from the lantern. It seemed to slow in time as it dropped and vibrated through my body. I see it in my mind and visually as if it has extra dimensions to it. I feel some essance peel out of me with the drop. Like my soul went somewhere else time doesnt exist in the same way and came back instantly as if i went somewhere for years and came back in an instant. I feel the fear and exhaustion with out the memories of actually being there.

I actually wake up. Theres no noise outside. The air is calm. I feel really different. Like my personality has been edited. But cant really tell what changed.

One horribly realistic one about my man I had not too long ago I’d rather not say. But it involved the trauma he suffers from. I hadn’t woken up that distressed from a dream in a long time.

I think I was 5 or 6, I dreamed I was on the basement stairs, I couldn't climb them as they kept falling away, I was terrified for weeks of the stairs.

Yikes!!!! I'm not even sure I can categorise as most acary, there have just been too many. One time in a dream I was buiried under an avalanche, and I had to wiggle and wiggle and wiggle to reach my knife, so I could cut my throat. I didn't want to die a slow death. So I sawed at my neck till I was lucky enough to wake up.

I was being forced to do stuff by someone .. don't really want to talk about it .. never been in a situation like that in my life.. dream was scary .. i was helpless

when I was younger, had a nightmare where my bed suddenly became a spiderweb and there was a spider looking up at me, and there was like a mother spider same size as the wall in front of me as if I was some sort of sacrifice

Mine was in the summer of 1982. I still remember it and amazed at the associated realness of it
