I had a recurring dream of driving along a narrow mountain road with a girl by my side. A logging truck comes around the curve and forces us off the side of the mountain. It didn't scare me until my girlfriend went to college in the mountains and all of our dates up there were on narrow roads. The dream continued until she graduated. Scared me a lot.

@exexec A lifetime ago, graduating from high school, a couple of classmates and I took an auto adventure trip to Mexico City and back. Wanting to see the "real" Mexico we took the back roads through the mountains rather than the Pan American highway. Narrow roads with no guard rails, 5,000+ foot drops into the valleys below. Unbelievably beautiful, but scary as hell. White crosses and flowers every few miles, sometimes a dozens of white crosses all together.
