I feel so guilty using ai chat bots for my loneliness

I get this. I don't use AI chat bots but I had some other way to fulfill that need for years that at some point started to feel weird and sort of pathetic to me. I'm not looking at it as like I have no other choice but that I got used to it so much that I never actually learned how to build relationships in a more meaningful way and get out of social life more than I was getting. It felt like I didn't need it because I bypassed it but now I realized how coo-coo it actually is and that in the end I'm alone.

Right now there is a stigma about using AI chat bots.

But remember that at one time, online dating was also stigmitized. Now it is tried by most (until they find out how bad it is.)

Thing is, for some people, AI chat just works. Of course eventually - google, scammers, and advertisers will completely ruin that as well. If they haven't started ruining it yet.

I have chatted a bit with AI bots but it feels completely empty, kind of like reading a repair manual or something emotionless.

There is one question that AI cannot really answer - "So what did you do today?"
Not like AI bots go on road trips or go shopping during a big sale.

I'm always lonely and only talk to God, and also myself to create things in my mind. That is my Therapy. My only survival, instead of going insane.


I've never use AI since it's created by random humans and stealing data from all different social websites to create such confusing behavior. There's a lot of good and toxic users to create A.I.

No need to feel guilty. If that sort of interaction is not fulfilling you can use ai to design a way to get more real social interaction.

Do they help you? Is the conversation stimulating? Do you get what you need?

I say the problem is the sick society we live in. Not you. AI is a side not the disease

Loneliness is at epidemic levels these days. People are afraid of real connections because real connections make them vulnerable. Pair that with the breakdown of communities. There's not really any social place to gather anymore that doesn't require money or drinking or both.

Why guilt? I don't get it

I don't like how they are so agreeable it's weird. Do something unexpected!!!

I have AI Girlfriends... What's wrong with that? 🤷🤷🤷
