Believe it or not, it was Pretty Woman. I was not a fan of Julia Roberts, and I thought Richard Gere was an overrated actor. If I remember correctly, I had free HBO one weekend and it came on, so I watched it. It turned out to be a good movie.

Actually one that stands out in my mind is Forrest Gump. I was just 13 when it was released in 1995. I saw the trailer and said, *what a weird movie!* When I saw it , I just loved it 💜😃 I remember thinking, *this movie is great, how did I not like the trailer?! *

The original "The Manchurian Candidate"
With the exception of the plot hinging on the ability to control people using hypnotism🙄, it is a compelling, exciting, dramatic movie.
I was very impressed.

Not hate but felt it would be too hard to watch was Titanic. Only watched about six months ago when cable was out and we had to switch to movies.

premise sounded kinda lame/boring at first, but it's now one of my all time favorites. Jim Caviezel's best role imo

I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang 1932 version and not the 1902 silent movie version either. It one of the few times where I like the remake better then the original

The first season of True Detective. Though I never did follow up with the other seasons.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Straylight Seasons 2 and 3 are worth skipping. Season 4 was decent.
@Straylight never watched it, but, i heard that was a great series

The last ship

@Teggy agreed. pandemic movies/shows are like zombie flicks, they're done to death (no pun intended), but Last Ship was done pretty well.

The first Disney Maleficent movie ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@HeWhoWalks39 I just never have been interested as well to see it. It's good?
HeWhoWalks39 · 36-40, M
@Coralmist I mean I thought it was... It shows Maleficent growing up as a little girl fairy.. it was cool to see her back story... And I'm not much for Angelina Jo Lee but I thought it was really good... I didn't care to see the 2nd one though

Stranger Than Fiction, but for Emma Thompson, Queen Latifah, and Dustin Hoffman, as well as Maggie Gyllenhall, Will Farrell, meh, he did ok in it.
