I've always believed that you should never ever give up and you should always keep fighting even when there's only a slightest chance.

- M.S.

Fighting the good fight.

Walking away from some.

Smh.

It's hard to kill the fight in me.

@therighttothink50 You always give the best advice. Thank you. 🙏
WillaKissing · 56-60
@therighttothink50 I agree, and this is me!

Umile · 41-45, F
@WillaKissing Sad that it has to be that way. That never ending cycle. Let's hope we don't have a war soon.

LilPrincess · 46-50, F
Only when needed because Ican't control my emotions. I try to avoid it at all costs but I have someone that enjoys making me target
Umile · 41-45, F
@LilPrincess nmh. Boundaries. Gotta set them.
LilPrincess · 46-50, F
@Umile since 2016 I have unfortunately it doesn't get through.
Umile · 41-45, F
@LilPrincess Maybe you can change your circle. Or disengage.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
In my early teenage years I was bullied and sometimes that takes a lot of fighting instinct out of you. The urge to stay quiet and not attract attention is very strong. By my mid to late teens I was a very angry individual and fought more.

As I grew older and more social I was invariably among the older members of my social group and it was backed up by a lot of responsibility towards them and then I'd have their back in tense situations, pervs at clubs etc

But I have to admit I still defer to talking things out than throwing the first punch,
Umile · 41-45, F
@Longpatrol Big of you. Glad you've grown into someone even better.
Torsten · 36-40, M
i dont like fighting but i have always defended myself and will always do so if needed.
I was bullied a bit when first moving to a different country as a young child and due to that my father taught me self defense and i did boxing and so on. So yeah i know how to defend myself but it takes a bit to actually get me to that point. I am normally very relaxed and in person seem to get on with most people nowadays, so yeah hopefully thats all just in the past
Umile · 41-45, F
@Torsten Only when you need to be.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Umile exactly. Its only ever been when i have needed to do it and never due to starting it
Umile · 41-45, F
@Torsten 👌
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
I have always been a fighter. In the street or in the courts.

Even when I know I'm going to lose the fight. I still don't back down.
Umile · 41-45, F
@HumanEarth That's old school grit right there.
Respect.
SeaGlass · F
My doc says I'm a fighter but I carry a white flag in my back pocket, just in case
Umile · 41-45, F
@SeaGlass good one. Good doc.

@Umile you would. I'm scary and I know it 😂
Umile · 41-45, F
@SW-User mmmhmm
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
I used to be. I used to have alot more confidence in certain situations. I also used to not be broken down by bodily injuries. I think i could still defend myself if i had to. I can still seem intimidating to ward off a fight. But im pretty broken physically
and emotionally .
Umile · 41-45, F
@GuyWithOpinions That spirit is still there I bet. Nmh. 🙏
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
The reality is most people don’t fight, won’t fight, and will shy away from injustice - doing the right thing when it really matters is rare. It’s dangerous professionally and personally. My experience is that it’s not that peole are cowardly, then just suffer from apathy and avoidance.
Umile · 41-45, F
@DownTheStreet Interesting
DHggmu · 31-35, M
I learnt at an early age, if you’re not strong and you don’t fight, people will see you as weak, take advantage, hurt you. I’ve hardened over the years, the shit me and my family have gone through, I’ve had to be strong and fight. I’m a pillar of strength for my loved ones and they know it. I have to be.
Umile · 41-45, F
@DHggmu #WORD 💪 💪 💪

Fight the good fight with all thy strength and all thy might .
Lay hold on now and it shall be the joy and crown eternally 😊
SW-User
@Umile No tis not 😊

@Umile Ok 👌 😁
Primnproper · 56-60, F
I’m a fighter most definitely and have no idea how I’ve made it through half the challenges in my life but I also think you have to know when to hold your hands up and say nope and walk away.
Umile · 41-45, F
@Primnproper True. When it's just nit worth it.
WillaKissing · 56-60
When I need to, I fight like a wolverine!
WillaKissing · 56-60
@Umile Oh, you would be a friend not the opponent.

Bullies, hate mongers, and mean-spirited folk draw that out of me, not you.
Umile · 41-45, F
@WillaKissing Oh. I love that. Thank you kindly. 🙏
WillaKissing · 56-60
@Umile If you look at my White board here, I posted about the things and lengths of things I have done to protect America.
I generally feel moving on is worth the effort more often then fighting with it
Umile · 41-45, F
@Justafantasy True. Like walking away from it if its not worth it. Cause sometimes it really isn't.

@Justafantasy Exactly. My predicament right now. Smh. I really don't have the time and patience to do it. I mean, I could. But, I dont exactly want to.
slorollin · 41-45, M
I'll avoid it if possible but if not I'm fighting until one of us stays down
Umile · 41-45, F
@slorollin Mmmhmm. I think I got a bit of that in me. Smh.
slorollin · 41-45, M
@Umile I like fighting though, that's why I always try to avoid it
Umile · 41-45, F
@slorollin smart man.
Ontheroad · M
Hmmm, I prefer to think of myself as persistent... once I start, I finish.
Umile · 41-45, F
@Ontheroad Tenacity is a great trait. 👏 👏 👏
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
Normally, I try to avoid fighting whenever possible.

(unless it can't be avoided)
Umile · 41-45, F
@Sidewinder exactly. 👌
I pick my battles.
Umile · 41-45, F
@MrBlueGuy idk. Feel like it's gonna be a big one. If I do this "properly ", it's gonna be showdown.
@Umile If trouble is coming to look for you and it's not going to go away you have to stand and fight.
Umile · 41-45, F
@MrBlueGuy You don't understand. One on one, I got it. But a pack of cowards out for blood is another story. If I do this, I gotta do it right.

And it's gonna go two ways, good or bad.

But thank you for your support though. 🙂🙏
in10RjFox · M
A fighter for the larger cause.. a fighter for the future of life..

And don't bother about petty fights..
NiteRaven93 · 31-35, M
I fight when it is necessary. The wrong move could have terrible consequences
Umile · 41-45, F
@NiteRaven93

Good man. Only when you have to.

True. Have to navigate with care. What to do ?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I hate to use Trump as a good example of anything. However, in court he has a history of winning by outlasting his opponents, even if they have the law on their side. He just keeps coming back. But that only applies in civil cases of course..😷
Umile · 41-45, F
@whowasthatmaskedman ofcourse 😷
antonioioio · 70-79, M
I believe in justice and fair play ♥️
Umile · 41-45, F
@BLP11520 Iwould that be your first move ?
