There is some truth to what you say. Whites are not the only strong people in the world. Whites are not only the strong people in America. There are other strong people like Jews, Chinese and Indians (from India) also.
NO. We still have systemic prejudice in our nation, particularly against women and people with darker skin. DEI was a mechanism for overcoming that systemic prejudice, for enabling the best qualified to get jobs.

I follow the Martin Luther King model, everyone should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Groups don't have rights, only individuals. If people sense a particular group of individuals have been disadvantaged by past racism, that can be addressed through voluntary charity and private help groups, the government and law should not be involved.

He’s eliminating mandatory diversity, equity and inclusion LAWS, not DEI itself. Go ahead and make yourself as diverse, equitable or inclusive as you like. No one’s stopping you but no one’s forcing you either.

Yes. Discrimination against one group to benefit another is still discrimination. Merit based programs/processes are the only options that should exist.

Protections against discrimination (race, gender, religion, orientation, etc) should still exist and be assured for all.

@Richard65 they were already protected under strict discrimination first of all what class you are in or who you like to sleep with at night or how you want to dress is not part of the qualifications for the job therefore they should not be considered and diversity equity and inclusion made it to where corporate boards and management had to have a certain percentage of LGBT people whether they were qualified or not. If trans people let's just say make up 1% of the population and a board of directors is typically nine people chances are only one in 10 companies would have someone that is trans. And that would be if they spend as much time with learning the skill of their job as they do partying and showing off in the trans community. But then again a board of directors for a gay bar should also have eight straight people sitting on it you know because that's the proper percentage otherwise they are discriminating.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout when I had to have heart surgery I contacted the three doctors I'm personally friends with it and I said if you had to have heart surgery who are the top three doctors you would pick and whichever doctor was on all three of their lists is the one I picked. I didn't ask if he was white black Asian Indian I didn't ask any of that don't care I just wanted the best. When I get on a plane and I see the captain and copilot greeting people if one of them doesn't look like an old gray-haired guy I worry cuz normally the old gray hair and white guy used to fly in the military which means he's landed in all types of shit. Anybody can fly that plane up in the sky I want one that's got a lot of landings under their belt and I mean successfully landed. I do not have my pilot's license but I have been working on it I don't trust myself in a plane by myself.

We don't have a problem with welcoming people in like the United States. But the problem is trying to change our kids into something they are not is the problem. Some things should never be taught in school to try and brain waste our young. Another problem is we have girl and women sports for a reason. Some boy that thinks he is a girl should never had been allowed in girl or women sports.

@MarmeeMarch In the US because of the for profit education system people born in the US outside of a small tax bracket will never be able to afford med school even if they sell their soul. American are also taught now that your worth is based on your net worth so doctors born in the US who already come from the wealthy to start will are going to most likely go where the money is.

Why be a GP when you can do BBLs and boob jobs and drive a Bentley?

@sstronaut I know, right? It's hard to figure out what's actually happening when you've got two sides telling an opposite narrative. The best we can do is look at what happens when DEI policies are reversed, and see who gets fired.

Spoiler alert, it's not white men who are being expunged from the workforce.

@goneNow6565 Yeah, the thing is, the type of people who would discriminate in hiring are also aware of the law, and they try very hard to disguise their bigotry. That's the trouble. A black person, for instance, might be denied for the job because they are "too friendly", "too loud", or some such. That's a real world example, but I would have to go look it up.
