Thing is, trump told the nation what he plans to do. Project 2025 was on full display, even summarized versions.
Why did people not listen before? The backlash is already starting, like with these tariffs he plans to impose.
And for @PalteseMalconFunch and whoever - oh yeah, people's choice to vote for trump has caused upheaval in some peoples' relationships.

John I tell ya this - with his extremist policies, I imagine a lot of people thought, "OH well that isn't going to apply to me or my family/friends!" Specifically the undocumented people who supported him and the LGBT.
Some people think they will be exempt from his wrath but when the hammers falls... people FA'ed and soon they will FO.
It is like many unintelligent actions - people do not look before they leap but then instantly regret.

But I'd have to have them seriously look at the full breadth of his positions.
not to put too fine point on it but as a bisexual asian man, I would not feel safe in the America that will be formed in the next 4 years. At least I know my country is conservative and until recently had laws against gay sex.
But we all looked to the West as a guide on how to do things, that...that is going to be in serious danger under his administration filled with Christo-fascists

That’s an interesting question. Because most people would probably say “why would political differences matter?”
But like for me I have a gay child. Their mother doesn’t really know, not really. Maybe suspects but thinks it’s either a phase or their bi. They aren’t. They’re completely gay.
So I’m in the position of choosing between them or someone else. And when it comes to my babies I always choose them, regardless of who the other person is.
I’ll have my babies back against anyone.
But like for me I have a gay child. Their mother doesn’t really know, not really. Maybe suspects but thinks it’s either a phase or their bi. They aren’t. They’re completely gay.

Absolutely. It doesn’t make the human who they are. There is a lot more to each human including their values and feelings and looks and how they care for others. Far more important than if they like the next President
