@Roundandroundwego I'm sure people felt that way the last time America was in late stage Capitalism. Herbert Hoover was losing jobs at a record pace and it seemed like America was over. But after that, we got FDR.

Nothing is ever over. When it comes to America in particular, it's a history of steadily moving to the Left, with hills and valleys along the way. We're in a valley now, soon will have a hill, and things will continue getting better overall.

@EBSVC TBH, Zohran Mamdani has given me a lot of hope. Not just because he showed people that leftist Democrats can win, he also made people care again. Nihilism has become the norm in America, so many people feel like nothing they do matters. Mamdani's campaign showed us that we matter, we can beat the establishment.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout When exactly did he have the highest approval rating of any 2nd term president? His highest approval rating was during his first week in office and quickly plummeted. You can't point at that and claim he's doing great right now. He's pulling loser numbers right now.
