He's using the tariffs as a bludgeon for his negotiating tactics. He's going to be fine if the global economy collapses. That means he can hold it hostage to try to force others to do what he wants.

He's worked that way his whole life. Swap out the tariffs with withholding pay from contract workers to renegotiate their pay after the work has been done or threatening banks that he will default on massive loans if they don't give him better terms. It's how he operates.

Libs don't want a strong America, so they oppose the tariffs they have kept alive for years.

Returning the market to the dollar is all about strengthening the US economy. Trump wants negotiations and has the leverage. Except for China, they can pound sand.

He then gives a signal he is going to announce they are off.............once by saying "Be Cool Today".....anotert time saying "an announcement on tariffs will be made today".........and 2 hours later he reversed and the market went up. That is the sell signal.

Finally catching on to this the FTC began to trace buys and sells of Marjorie Trailer Park Greene and the billionaires in his cabinet and trump and his family..................and found they all were buying and selling at the same times. But who will investigate.................absolutely no one because they all are making money on trump's game.

Meanwhile those not in on the game----the poor and middle class...... have lost all market gains as far back now as January 2024 on 401k's and stock holdings.

My theory is that Trump is doing it because it makes him feel powerful, but the reason he's being allowed to do it is because the billionaires want to crash the market.

I highly doubt it considering all of his money is invested in his properties golf courses and hotels. But one of the biggest reasons is the Federal reserve for the last close to 15 years has had artificial manipulation of between 300 billion and 600 billion pumped into it by the Federal reserve every month think about that that means the Federal reserve they spending for the seven trillion dollars a year that you didn't know the federal government was over inflating the value of our stock market.
