@hippyjoe1955 The medical authorities refute you, I don't need to do anything. Your need to redefine autism as a mental illness is more about you than anyone else. It's never the fault of marginalized communities for your past grievances. I couldn't refute you because even if I delved into a long post about why you're wrong which I could do, you have a need to openly discriminate and that takes precedence over any logical evidence.

If you already know the reasons why words get redefined then it's a logical assumption that you have looked into all of this before and just refused outright any new information from the beginning making any refutation void.


Capitalism and the medical community can only do so much with lack of resources and stigma.

For instance you think being gay is a mental disorder but how would it help gay people if being gay isn't a mental disorder in the first place. I fail to see how you can get help for people if you're still misunderstanding root causes of other things a person may have going on.

Combined with scientific racism and medical discrimination, how would one get help for people if they're the ones doing it. That doesn't even make sense.

You're a reasonable person approaching an area of public debate with a common opinion that feels like common sense. That debate is a red herring. Trans people in sports really doesn't matter, we're talking a very very very small number of people. But when its in the newspapers and the government makes a huge deal of it, suddenly reasonable people get put on an anti-trans side of a debate.

That makes the real shit more palatable. Barring medical care. Passports. Right to public life. The guy who responded to me saying they should be "get help" for their disorder, like it'd be rational for the government to force a million people into some kind of government mandated "help".
