thats all good and well but most trans people are NOT born intersex-- point dismissed.
(i asked it to dispute point 2) "Point 2 argues that some studies suggest transgender individuals' brain structures resemble those of their identified gender rather than their biological sex. Here's why that claim is debatable:
1. Correlation vs. Causation – Even if there are observable differences in brain structures, it's unclear whether these differences cause transgender identity or result from it. The brain is highly plastic, meaning experiences (like gender dysphoria, socialization, or hormone treatments) could shape brain structure rather than the other way around.
2. Inconsistencies in Studies – While some studies suggest brain differences, others do not find consistent results. Many studies have small sample sizes and lack replication, making conclusions uncertain.
3. Overlapping Brain Traits – Male and female brains show a lot of variation, and there is no single "male brain" or "female brain." Most traits exist on a spectrum, so similarities between transgender individuals and their identified gender could just reflect natural brain diversity rather than a distinct biological cause for transgender identity.
4. Effects of Hormone Therapy – Many brain studies on transgender individuals include people who have undergone hormone treatment. Since hormones affect brain structure and function, it's difficult to determine whether differences are innate or a result of medical transition.
5. No Direct Biological "Transgender Marker" – Despite research into genetics and neurobiology, there is no clear biological marker proving that transgender identity is rooted in brain structure alone. Psychological and environmental factors also play a significant role.
So, while the brain structure argument sounds compelling, it's not definitive proof that being transgender is biologically hardwired. It remains a complex mix of biological, psychological, and social factors."
Point 4 argues that genetic and epigenetic factors may influence gender identity. Here's why that claim is debatable:
1. No Identifiable "Transgender Gene" – Despite extensive genetic research, no single gene or set of genes has been proven to determine transgender identity. Unlike conditions with clear genetic links (e.g., cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia), transgender identity does not have a consistent genetic signature.
2. Weak and Inconclusive Evidence – Some studies suggest weak correlations between certain genetic markers and gender identity, but they do not establish causation. Many of these studies rely on small sample sizes and have not been widely replicated.
3. Epigenetics is Highly Theoretical Here – Epigenetics refers to how environmental factors influence gene expression. Some researchers speculate that hormonal exposure in the womb might influence gender identity, but this remains unproven. There is no concrete evidence that epigenetic changes directly lead to someone being transgender.
4. Identical Twin Studies Complicate the Argument – If transgender identity were strongly genetic, identical twins (who share 100% of their DNA) should have a near-100% concordance rate (both twins being trans if one is). However, studies show that while identical twins are more likely to both be transgender compared to fraternal twins, the rate is still far from 100%, suggesting non-genetic factors play a major role.
5. Cultural and Social Influence is a Major Factor – If transgender identity were primarily genetic, it should occur at similar rates across all societies and time periods. Instead, its prevalence varies significantly depending on cultural, social, and political factors, suggesting that environment and psychology are at least as important—if not more so—than genetics.
Ultimately, while genetics and epigenetics might contribute to gender identity in some way, the evidence is weak and inconclusive. It is far more likely that a mix of psychological, social, and biological factors shape gender identity rather than it being purely or even primarily genetic.
5. Evolutionary and Developmental Biology – In some species, sex and gender expression are fluid, with organisms changing sex based on environmental or social factors. While humans are different, these examples show that biological sex isn't always fixed.
were humans, stfu.
what was so advanced about all this lmao. a man is a man, a woman is a woman. unless someone is born intersex, which most trans arent.
When pro-trans advocates say that "advanced biology" supports their stance, they generally mean that modern biological and medical research challenges a strict binary understanding of sex and gender. Here are some of the key arguments they refer to:
1. Sex is Not Strictly Binary – While male and female are the most common biological categories, variations exist, such as intersex conditions (e.g., Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, Klinefelter Syndrome). These biological variations complicate the idea that sex is strictly binary.

thats all good and well but most trans people are NOT born intersex-- point dismissed.
2. Brain Structure and Neurobiology – Some studies suggest that transgender individuals' brain structures resemble those of their identified gender more than their birth-assigned sex. This suggests that gender identity has a biological basis beyond chromosomes or reproductive anatomy.

3. Endocrinology and Hormones – Hormonal differences play a major role in gender development. Trans individuals undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) experience significant physical and psychological changes, further blurring rigid biological distinctions.
men are not women, even if they cut their dicks off and inject themselves with hope4. Genetic and Epigenetic Factors – Some research suggests that gender identity may be influenced by genetic or epigenetic factors, meaning biological influences on gender identity may be more complex than just XX or XY chromosomes.

Ultimately, their argument is that biological science has evolved beyond a simple "male vs. female" framework, and that gender identity is a legitimate, biologically influenced aspect of human development. However, interpretations of this science vary, and debates continue between different perspectives.

@thrash No honey. When i mean advanced biology i mean from biologists themselves have countered many of your points and they even say themselves that the reason they don't teach that in high school is that you try to explain to students why they're biologically male but chromosomally female.
It also doesn't stop there but it directly affects the way cells communicate with each other.
This is why you go to college for biology or are you saying that the entire field of biology is a scam and if it's a scam then don't use biology as an excuse to practice discrimination.
Why go to school for biology at all if you know everything?
That makes no sense honey

@Punches A lot of racist people are unhappy and looking for reasons. This election it's gay people, black people, dei, immigrants.
I've heard of dei for why whites can't get jobs. It all amounts down to they're unhappy and they think that target selling lgbt shirts is to blame so thus if they remove those things, their lives will get magically better

@SatanBurger see: argumentum ad verecundiam . also false concensus fallacy.
did you know: AI can process more information in one second than all of humans combined (including those who went to college) could in a lifetime.

@thrash Hey honey. AI isn't perfect, if you look on Google it can have incorrect information and something called hallucinations. This is factual, it even tells you on chatgpt that it isn't always correct.
You used AI on me before in a previous conversation and I used it back to you which it told me you were heavily biased. But you also asked AI some other questions and we went back and fourth for awhile.
It kept telling you that you were wrong and you responded to me that you didn't trust i was using AI, I was but didn't correct you.
Biologists matter because they actually do the testing required to come up with hypothesis and conclusions. That's why biologists do matter honey.

@SatanBurger you claim to know advanced biology but addressed nothing that was said. i know nothing of it yet i addressed your points (with valid points). and in return you commit logical fallacies. yet somehow youre right. okay.
