It appears that thousands of agricultural workers (between 1/2 to 1 million total in California and over 80% undocumented) are not showing up for the citrus harvest out of fear after several ICE raids in the Central Valley.😁

KKKalifornia just went through a DISASTROUS natural disaster that was CAUSED by incompetent government, and somehow you're worried about their crops getting picked?
Let's bring you up to speed on the facts:
1. California is the most HEAVILY taxed state in the Union.
2.Despite that, California's state budget is BILLIONS in deficit.
3. If you compare California to a red state in a similar climate zone, FLORIDA shows how it is supposed to be done. We have no state income tax. Our budget is balanced, and is actually in surplus. Florida supplies the country with 90 percent of all winter vegetables, including the best citrus fruits in the world. Our crops get picked by migrant labor, LEGAL MIGRANT LABOR. We have the best economy in the country, the safest streets and the best schools. And we've done it for a FRACTION of the cost that KKKalifornia has pissed away.
@SunshineGirl Sure she is. But she'll have to understand the rules. Her country has been promoting the illegal entry of millions through Mexico to the US. Bad girl! Now.... you're going to either take these people back, or you'll be tariffed to such a degree that it will drastically harm your country's economy.
@FreestyleArt well I read several years ago when Trump was President that there were plans on building an industrial sector on Mexico’s side of the border that would create huge employment opportunities for Mexicans who wanted a job. It wouldn’t be far to import those things into the USA. And it wouldn’t take weeks to get things delivered to ports like the stuff this being shipped in cargo container ships from Asia.
If she stands her ground, Trump will just find another way to deport them, unless he actually wants to go to war with Mexico. That may not be a good move, China supports Mexico, and Russia does too. That will show just how much Putin doesn't give a hoot or toot about Trump or the US
@calicuz Mexican president said she would only accept Mexican nationals, but she was put in a position that she had to accept people of other nations also, there is still from what reports said 2 days ago ongoing discussions concerning that matter. The have sent 80 or so Colombians to South Americans to South and a handful of Mexicans to Mexico out of the 4000 supposedly they sent there..
@MarmeeMarch Well Mexico doesn't want them either. The master plan is to send groups of illegal immigrants to their country of origin... not all to Mexico or any one country. Only Columbians were being transported to Columbia.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout If Mexico wants to be a good neighbor with the USA and do what is right they’ll profit greatly from it. There could be a lot of factories located just south of the border creating things that they could import to America (not far away like the Asian factories). This would not only give job opportunities to factory workers but also truck drivers.
1. Bomb Mexico. 2. Deny he ordered it and whine he gets blamed for everything with witch hunts. 3. Talk about how sleepy Joe Biden is. 4. Mention he would have had a bigger inauguration crowd than Obama, Biden, and Martin Luther King, Jr. combined. 5. Nominate a new Secretary of Defense.

Recognize that PRESIDENT TRUMP has been in office for two weeks. He has moved faster than any FIVE Democrat presidents.
He has gotten more done in two weeks than the last TEN Democrat presidents in their entire term.
1. Those are not IMMIGRANTS. Those animals are NOT undocumented. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS. Their presence in the US is a violation of the US Code. They didn't just drop name tags on the ground. They knowing VIOLATED our laws and our borders.
2. Deporting those animals is a work in progress. It is too soon to say what the Mexican president is going to do. But she pretty much knows that the US holds all the cards. She needs us more than we need Mexico.

@trollslayer I have no intention of insulting any poster here, whether he/she agrees with me or not. I'm merely discussing the issues before us. Sometimes the discussions get a little spirited, but so far, nobody here has suggested doing to a poster what the Democrats tried to do to Trump twice.
What makes Similar Worlds superior to other forums is the fact that it encourages spirited discussion and debate and doesn't play favorites based on ideology. That's why most of us are here.
