Trump is going to set things right. Europe your economy will improve, Trump may even find a way to put a stop to the tyranny going on over there. I hope for the same for other countries that lost their democracys.
I think we are seeing the end of the US. There is a person in office who wants to be a king or a dictator. Look at the world leaders he admires. Dictators and despots.
He has no respect for the US Constitution, the rule of law, or common decency. All that matters is his huge inflated ego.
A bit shocked that Reps took the senate and probably house.
But I guess that fits honestly. At this point I’m just ready for them to drive the ship right into the iceberg then maybe more people will realize they need to start bailing the water out.
It’s hard to be optimistic about the worst possible timeline maybe finally waking people up.
But also that won’t happen. Profits will continue to be the most important thing and we in the US will continue to be one of the least humane and most wealth obsessed cultures in world history.
Rarely has the confluence of both been so deeply entrenched.
I personally don't care for Trump or Kamala because as far as foreign policy goes Kamala wasn't a good bet nor is trump but I can empathise with people living there genuinely fearing for their future. I can imagine it's gonna be unsettling times for a bit.
I'm not surprised he won. I'm surprised at how there's been an increase in votes from 18-29 year olds since the last election. That's not reassuring at all.

@whowasthatmaskedman You don't think America is going to drag the rest of the world down with it? We're the biggest economy in the world. When that goes down the drain, the rest of the world is going to tank, as well.
@DunningKruger Sorry. No.. Sure the world will hit a speed bump..But the fact is China is the manufacturing giant the States used to be. America is the financial giant and has been busy diluting that power by printing its own monopoly money (pun intended) for decades now and doing deals with the devil for oil. China has 4 times the population and can weather a economic run far better than America bringing up the living standards of its own population with a Centralised government. Move one will be to replace the $US as the reserve trade currency and Trumps ham fisted "diplomacy" will make that simple. Trump wont get the wiggle room the other nations gave him last time.."Team America" will not receive the support it got before..America can be Cartman and say "Scr*w you guys. I'm going home" and no one will care...The game will go on without them..😷

@Starcrossed Yeah same here. There was a "Christian" on youtube and his thumbnail had him laid back in his desk chair with his feet on his desk-gloating about trumps win.
Not my choice, but it is the first time he actually has won by getting the majority of popular vote. I didn't vote, and I am ok regardless of who is president.
I don't really do politics on here. It's sad to watch people attack each other, but lots of people can't help themselves. Some people are happy but millions are not and I don't see a lot of people respecting that. The fight is NOT with each other.
