Will the anti -Trump celebrities keep their word this time?

When Donald Trump ran against Hillary Clinton for the U.S Presidency,many well -known Hollywood celebrities vowed to leave the United States if he won.He won;they didn't leave.This time around ,the same promises are being made by many of the same people.Can they be expected to keep their word if the outcome of the race is not what they had hoped?

I wish they would keep their promise this time, but they won't.

I have two family members who left. Not just because Trump won in 2016, but because of the existence of him as a candidate in the first place made them feel uneasy about the future of the USA.

@sunsporter1649 overseas.
@DavidT8899 DJT gave his word about many things, incl. a wall.

How did that work out?

Most of them have homes in several countries to begin with, and unfortunately we'd still have to hear their noise no matter where they went.

I vote that we get together and grab them all by the waistbands of their underwear, pull UP sharply, and march them to the airport. Forced flights OUT.

Can you be more specific about who actually said that? It sounds similar to the claims that are put out in the right wing media in the UK every time tax increases are proposed that the rich are going to leave. But little evidence that anyone actually said that, let alone acted on it.

Probably not, but there will be greater pressure since this time, if he wins, there will be no normal Republicans to reign him in.

No...We're stuck with them...All talk, no walk.
Crossing my fingers, I hope they all love losing all their freedoms and civil rights after they denounce their US Citizenship.

@NativePortlander1970 But,assuming that he wins,you know that they won't.
@DavidT8899 Of course, because they know that whichever country they move to, they lose everything they had in the United States.
