This strike very clearly brings into question all the other previous complaints about "indiscriminate bombing", "trigger happy" soldiers, or "purposeful killing of civilians" back into question.
I was very firmly on Israel's side back in October and November of last year. Then they gunned down a couple of nuns and three of their own hostages. Very clear to me after that that Israel has a strategy of "shoot all that moves" within a "war zone" as they declare. Every subsequent incident is further proof of this.
War crimes? [u]100% guilty[/u]. Full stop.
Intent? I bought the "self defense" reasoning for awhile, and then the "reckless self defense" or "angry retaliation" reasoning for awhile. Now I am to the point that a very large portion of Israelis (if not the majority) truly believe Gaza is rightfully theirs by decree of God, and really don't give a shit what happens to Gazans. In other words the "G" word. YES, YOU CAN COMMIT GENOCIDE IN "DEFENSE" OF YOUR OWN COUNTRY.
I'm so upset at this point that I think the international community needs to force a cease fire. That may mean militarily, and striking targets ON BOTH SIDES that break that cease fire.

I think Israel has pushed the envelope about as far as they can. They fired rockets at the Iranian consulate in Syria yesterday. And killing allies is a quick way to find themselves on an island.

Last night I caught a little of Jim Sciutto (CNN) interviewing Israel Army Spokesman , Daniel Hagari. He was being pressed on the number of civilian casualties and the IDF's indiscriminate use of 2,000 lb bombs and other unguided munitions. He acted as if he was outraged , wagging his finger no less, by the very suggestion that that accusation could be levelled against the 'most moral army in the world' and that they at all times conduct operations with the utmost concern for innocent lives.
This morning he was on our screens again. This time very subdued , almost sheepish , with his hand pressed to his heart , telling us of his 'sincere sorrow' for the loss of innocent lives , while at no time actually admitting that his soldiers were responsible for the latest atrocity.
I'm at the point now where I have to turn the tv off when I hear these people trying to gaslight us. If there's any justice at the end of this , then those responsible for the genocide will be held accountable in a court of law where they can explain their actions before a jury rather than being allowed to spew their propaganda at us all on cable tv with barely a contradiction allowed.

@RodionRomanovitch Even mainstream commentators in British news are now suggesting that Israel must be forced into a ceasefire. This is new.
It's just tragic that it took the deaths if British aid workers to stop the gaslighting and admit what is going on. Even now, the priorities indicate a racial hierarchy.
