Trump supporters: If Trump is found guilty in a court of law will that change your enthusiasm to have him as president again?

Will that convince you that Trump has deceived you as to his character?
Or will any conviction of Trump be, in your eyes, only an unfair weaponization of the justice system?

It's already demonstrated that he committed fraud by lying about how much several of his properties were worth.

It's looking bad for him, guys....

At this point, if he goes to prison the people still supporting him will consider him a martyr. He's not going to prison for crimes. He's going to prison because he was a political opponent that had been unfairly targeted and given a sham trial. The narrative is already set whether he wins or loses.

@JPWhoo Yes I'm aware of the fineries of electoral votes, I'm also aware that trump lost the popular vote by millions and millions in each of his elections.
@Vin53
He lost by 7million votes in 2020, do you think felony convictions are going to win over those 7m?
Don't forget about all those young rednecks who have turned 18 since the last election. And also how many red states have made it more difficult to vote.
Put that on top of those 70 million people who voted for him last time because you know they're all going to vote for him again, aside from the ones who died in the interim.
@Vin53 I would vote for any republican, except Trump over Biden. If it comes down to Biden vs Trump again, I just won't vote.

If Trump is proven guilty in the court of law he has to be sentenced to prison, no one is above the law.
RedBaron · M
@SW-User Actually, there are many levels of sentencing that don’t all involve incarceration. Fines, probation, etc.
Applepiedom · 56-60, M
Won't change my view of him,hell it didnt matter the illegal shit Clinton's did,obummer did,dumbass joe. Why would a Trump bother anything?

You are naive… They valued his 69,000 sqft home at 18 million. It’s certainly worth more than 10 times that. Trump has his fair share of issues but if you don’t think that there’s corruption pushing back on him, you’re crazy. There’s a 10,000sqft house two miles from me valued at 40 million on 5 acres. The court wayyy under valued Mar-a-Lago.
@Bill1372

What about the apartment in Trump tower?
And the point appears not to be the exact figure but rather that whatever the true figure, Trump lied about the properties to make them seem more valuable than they were.
jeancolby · 31-35, F
If he is found guilty I will not vote. All my gop friends will do the same....So will millions of others.
Vin53 · M
@jeancolby Voting is precisely how our country decides our leaders. Thats democracy.
jeancolby · 31-35, F
@Vin53 That's right and the choice not to vote is democracy in action.
Vin53 · M
@jeancolby Yes it is. Its referred to as relenting.
Vin53 · M
Very good prosecutors do not bring charges to lose cases, and in all 91 charges there are very good prosecutors.
@Vin53

Personally i hope that's true.
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
I would rather have the town drunk than what we have now! Maybe he would secure our border!
@fanuc2013

You'd rather have a convicted felon guilty of criminal levels of lying and betraying the American constitution than someone who isn't keeping the border closed the way you want?
SevIsPamprinYouAlways · 56-60, F
@fanuc2013 Just remove the “drunk” part, and you did have him before. And what shape he left the country in!

Fairydust · F
He won’t, you watch too much tv 📺 lol 😂
Fairydust · F
@Pikachu
Maybe ask why, what’s going on behind the scenes that they don’t tell us.
Because that’s how it works, you only know what they want you to know.

Most of it is a lie or distraction from what’s really going on.
@Fairydust

Is that your way of saying that were Trump convicted of the charges, you would reject the judgement as legitimate?
Fairydust · F
@Pikachu

I believe the law, judges would be corrupted, which they are.
Everything is upside down, nothing is what it appears to be.

No. Its a cult. At this point he could shoot a person in the face and the person he shot would still vote for him. The Supreme leader can do no wrong since he is the creator of all that is good. Therefore to explain evil there must be an "other". A devil. And a devil is anyone who is not the cult or the god himself.
@Renaci

It does seem like that. I really thought after Jan 6th, that would be the line.
A man who lost an American election and attempted by force to hold onto power...i thought that would be the line for Americans. Apparently for many it was not.
His supporters are so far removed from fact that it doesn't matter what's been proven at this stage.
