He is also a convicted felon. Rape.......30 some criminal felony counts for his Trump University conviction.........IRS charities fraud in NY State----2 counts. And the list goes on.
The photo OP was for NRA dollars. His backers have dropped him---the Kock Brothers and others. Several of his cult PAC's have moved back. He's spending sucker donation money like crazy that they sent to him for his campaign.........to pay his personal legal bills instead. Ovber $40 billion in the last 6 months alone. This morning a NY State judge found him guilty of fraudulent business practices in NY State as far back as trump's records go...so now he could face a $250 million fine and lose his Tower and whatever assets they take to pay that judgement.......... because trump SURE won't pay that on his own.
He's cash strapped. So the photo op was to sucker the NRA into sending him money.

Trump's campaign said he bought the gun; then the campaign reversed itself. My guess is he really did buy the gun but then someone with half a brain convinced him of his mistake and he quickly returned it.
A video posted on X by Trump spokesman Steven Cheung — which was later deleted — showed that the gun in question featured a print of the former president's face.
Trump stopped at the Palmetto State Armory in Summerville, S.C., to look at guns after meeting with campaign volunteers in the critical early-voting state.
In the video, Trump pointed to the Glock and said "Wow," before adding: "I've got to buy one. I want to buy one."
In the now-deleted X post, Cheung wrote: "President Trump purchases a @GLOCKInc in South Carolina!"
@ElwoodBlues Yeah. Slim Cheung screwed up. His little exclamation point was cute though.

MTG posted a pic on twitter showing Trump holding a Glock with a picture of his fat face etched on the side

He didn't buy it. And he couldn't with 91 felony charges against him. But I read that it was even illegal for him to be holding that gun in South Carolina.
independentone · M
@Ynotisay One of his aides said tweeted he did buy it, but then deleted the tweet and changed his story when he found out it was illegal. Who knows what the real story is. 🤷♂️

the laws don't seem to apply to democrats, why should it be any different for republicans. maybe the reality is, laws are applied differently based on how much money and power someone has and less to do with a specific political affiliation...

@whowasthatmaskedman American legal system has always been a joke, most judges can be bought off and all lawyers are nothing more than ambulance chasing, money grubbing whores.

Bet a dollar someone bought it for him. It has his face etched into it. No way he won't have it in his hoarder room along with shaq's shoes.

@independentone maybe an act of defiance against the law .but if a law is broken trump should be shown no leniency the law applies to one and all in the united states even donald j trump

It is the particular gun store Trump chose to buy or not not the Glock, that is quite interesting...too.

It’s not so much political affiliation as big stacks of cash. And/or big stacks of fame. So yes I’m sure it was illegal for him to do that. But he’s going to get away with everything anyway
He might even be found guilty but he’ll do no time. And they probably won’t find him guilty before the election. So he will get to run. Even though everything says that that should not be the case

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout No thanks....but if it can be proven he did, then lock his ass up.
TheOneyouwerewarnedabout · 41-45, MVIP

Is it illegal for him to SAY that he did? Maybe he wanted people (authorities, anyone) to waste their time looking into it.
Ynotisay · M
@familyfunguy From my understanding it was actually illegal for him to even hold a gun in South Carolina. He "received" a gun that traveled across state lines. But your point is solid. If the law came after him he'd used that BIGLEY.
JSul3 · 70-79
Trump is stupid, but he wasn't going to buy a gun. I was surprised the gun shop owner didn't just give it to him.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@JSul3 He can’t. Legally.
Stillwaiting · M
They didn't lock Hunter up for gun violations .. now did they?
JSul3 · 70-79
@Stillwaiting To be determined.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
He probably did not actually buy one. He was just getting pictures for the base.
