For All Biden Supporters...

Please list all your reasons, (other than that you hate Trump,) why you think Biden is such a great president.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M Best Comment
You can't ask uninformed cult members who are the convenience drones of society to use logic, critical thinking and or common sense.

These drones have bought into this leftist authoritarian technocracy. They have been conditioned to hate their country, themselves and their very self-survival.

They exist within a disconnected fantasy world, where their next text message is their only concern.

Biden supporters have chosen to disconnect themselves from reality.

“We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”

@HoraceGreenley
The data supports my claims
What data??

Go ahead, keep asserting without presenting any supporting data. That;s the way to make a really strong case, LOL!!!
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@ElwoodBlues Dide you are uninformed
@HoraceGreenley Go ahead, keep asserting without presenting any supporting data. That;s the way to make a really strong case, LOL!!!

Actually, we CEASED being a net energy exporter under Trump.

Look at that GIANT drop in oil production under Trump! The peak is 13,100 thousand barrels in Feb 2020 and the lowest spike was 9700 in Aug 2020 - a 26% drop!! All during the Trump admin!!!

https://www.macrotrends.net/2562/us-crude-oil-production-historical-chart

Your OWN DATA proves you wrong!!! My only question is: are you really this bad at reading graphs, or was this a failed attempt to gaslight us???
BlueVeins · 22-25
Don't love Biden, but he's done the following:
-reduce America's dependence on oil & gas as prices surge
-facilitate weapons & logistics donations to Ukraine as they fight a fascist invasion of their homeland
-lower drug costs
-tried to pass funding for universal pre-K, childcare
-withdrew from Afghanistan, ordered the killing of an Al-Qaeda leader with a missile made of swords
-released a tax plan which would raise $1.5 trillion from the rich over the course of 10 years, largely through capital gains rates
-Sending secretary of state to Brazil to make their democracy more resistant to anti-democratic forces

Overall, Biden has been the most economically responsible President in my entire lifetime, and the only one who's treated the threat of rising fascism with the gravity it warrants. Tons of shit he should be doing that he's not, but I'm happy to lend him my support if he can help pull us out of the fire.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@IM5688
-reduce America's dependence on oil & gas as prices surge? Biden hasn't reduced dependence on oil or gas.
Tens of billions in tax breaks of dollars for wind, solar, & hydro infrastructure -- made in the US -- in the IFR
Tens of billions in tax breaks for nuclear energy, also in the IFR
Tens of billions in subsidies helping regular Americans electrify home appliances, also in the IFR
$39 billion for modernizing public transit in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
$66 billion more for Amtrak & Freight Rail maintenance and further development
Yes, he is pushing his EV agenda, but hasn't done anything to reduce gas or oil use
Cars use oil, you donut. Advancing EV technology reduces oil in itself; even if you just burned oil to make the power that cars use (which isn't how the whole energy grid works), you'd still be greatly reducing oil usage bc EVs are much more efficient than gas-powered cars.
except cause the surge in oil and gas prices which is hurting everyone.
Not actually how that happened. Oil use went down during the lockdowns & recession under Trump. A lot of drilling sites & refineries had to close down, which sucks bc those things are expensive as shit. When the economy started back up, there was a massive labor shortage, meaning it would've been more expensive to either open new drilling sites & refineries or refurbish old ones. The oil companies have known for a while that they're quickly approaching obsolescence, so they decided to cash out and take advantage of the high prices instead of increasing supply.

Meanwhile, Exxon has more than doubled its profits from FY 2021 to FY 2022. BP got a healthy 50% bump and Shell's profits went up by 80%. These oil companies pretend they've been so hurt by Biden's decision not to sell oil & gas leases on federal land -- a move which has long since been reversed, by the by -- but they're making money hand over fist off of your suffering, daring you to stop buying their shitty product. All Biden did was take them up on that challenge.

Biden didn’t win the election, it was fixed, he was put in place, if you can’t see that, you must be blind, just like what’s happened in Arizona, loads of evidence out there, if you care to look in the right places, that’s if it hasn’t been censored, plenty of evidence of that too, just look at the Twitter files, The old they hated Trump so they voted for Biden, is just another load of misinformation put out by, the CIA, FBI, CNN, MSNBC, who knows where it originated from, Can you remember the old Russian collusion, started by Hillary Clinton, which in turn was backed up by the liberal left wing media, and big tech, proved to be all made up shit, oh yes and the old Hunter Biden laptop 💻 wasn’t that Russian misinformation 😀 as backed up by how many former CIA former leaders, liars all of them, my god, a lot of you Americans need to wake to what’s going on in your own country, I’m in the UK and I know, and so so do a lot more Brits, The media / big tech do a great job of keeping you lot misinformed

As far as I'm concerned, all Biden and Obama did, was destroy this country and make it crumble to its knees. But they forgot who they should bow down to, in prayer. God has been completely left out of this Administration.

@Pfuzylogic Re : death and Biden. His loss was tragic. No argument on that. But as you point out, 50 years ago. He wants to grieve, ( it was an item in the press referring to the accident having occurred 50 years ago) then he does it quietly and solemnly. His loss , then , albeit horrific, is no more important than the loss of loved ones of other Presidents.

You cite Trump’s bone spurs. You did not cite Biden’s asthma which got him the same classification of deferments that Trump got. I believe both tallied up a total of 5, the final ones, medical.

It would be interesting to see who determined Biden was asthmatic. We know as alleged , a doctor who knew Trump’s father determined that Trump has bone spurs.
As for both of them the draft/dodging of is not crystal clear.

All? I don't have time to list all. But here's perhaps a Top 10.

#1. Fucked the Ruskies!
#2. Re-energized NATO
#3. Repaired relationships with our Allies
#4. Sticking it to China (The CHIPS and Science Act)
#5. Keeping the military strong and well-funded
#6. Helped lead us out of what was a worsening COVID epidemic (American Rescue Plan)
#7. Campaigned for and signed a much-needed infrastructure bill
#8. Campaigned for and signed legislation allowing Medicare to negotiate for lower drug prices
#9. Campaigned for and signed legislation (PACT Act) to finally care for veterans effected by burn pits
#10. Signed legislation to reauthorize and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act
Nanoose · 61-69, M
@beckyromero Yep Biden accomplished all those good things for America and the World. And at the end of the year he had a lovely Christmas message of peace and joy unlike Trump's bitter self centred hate filled Christmas message. Cheers and Happy New year!

There's no such thing as a Biden supporter because normal people don't support a random politician years before and after an election. And nobody thinks he's a great president. Good, definitely, but not great
@BigImo THANK YOU. Let's all remember a time, not so very long ago, when Americans didn't treat their politicians as either Gods or Demons. We thought about our politicians around election day then pretty much forgot about them until the next election made us have to evaluate.
@robingoodfellow When was that exactly? I am Canadian so I am not as combative in politics. Which presidents are examples of decent rulers let alone human beings?
BigImo · 22-25, F
@ManKing thank you for proving my point
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@LadyGrace This is probably going to cause trouble, but here goes anyway.

Yes, the Bible is clear about which nations he will bless, sadly though, the United States will probably not be among them.
The Bible states that during the final days, (Armageddon,) before Christ's second coming, that the lands from the utmost North, (Russia,) will attack Israel. It further states that the lands of the East, (China,) will also attack Israel. Lastly, the land of Cush, (Africa,) will attack Israel. (By the way, they will lose and be destroyed.)

The two reasons that the US is not mentioned is that,
1. during the time that the Bible was being written, the US had not been discovered yet.
2. More importantly, the US will likely not be here at that time.
Why? I'll try to explain it logically, yet simply.

China, and Russia, and Egypt, Africa, are serious world powers. The Bible states that each one of them will rise up against Israel. Assuming the Bible is correct, (and I do believe it is,) any nation that will rise up against Israel will do what first?
Strategically, any large nation should have no trouble wiping out a tiny country like Israel, but let's not forget that Israel has allies. And Israel's biggest and most powerful ally is the US. Now, if you were Russia or China or Egypt and wanted to take over/make war with Israel, what would you do first?

The first thing you'd do, is wipe out Israel's biggest and most powerful ally, the US. So, it is my opinion that the US as we know it, will not be here for the final battle and since we are proving ourselves to be more and more godless as each day passes, I see little hope for much of the USA.
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I never said the US would "abandon" Israel. What I stated was that the US would be taken out first so therefore unable to assist Israel.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@IM5688 OK. I used the wrong word.I admit it. But if the US isnt there for any reason, a lot of Arabs (and Persians) had best put their fingers in their ears and kiss their @$$e$ goodbye. Israel will strike first and fast..😷

@HoraceGreenley
She's referring to the Trump administration's decision to extend the Keystone pipeline.

But that's [big]NOT[/big] what she said.

She said, "When trump opened the keystone pipeline..."

[big]"opened."[/big]

Furthermore, as for "opening" the pipeline would cause gas prices to drop, they actually did [big]NOT[/big] drop when the pipeline was opened in 2010.

@Pfuzylogic I guess if you’re not aware, probably the same way, Joe Biden did. They both “ dodged” the draft. You’re aware of that?
Pfuzylogic · M
@soar2newhighs
I am aware that Joe Biden did not dodge the draft and donnie ran away from it with a fake medical report something about bone spurs was it?
Joe 50 years ago last week lost his wife and baby girl in a car accident when he was voted in the Senate.
I hate throwing dirt on donnie (well maybe i don’t) but there is no comparison between the two. Many Senators assisted Joe 50 years ago because they realized how important he was to this democratic republic…50 years ago. Joe has really helped others as President with his understanding of death.

AbbeyRhode · F
@IM5688 The same thing happens when you ask a liberal why they hate Trump. They can't provide a valid, proven reason, but CNN told them "orange man bad", and they obey. If pushed for an answer, they may trot out the standard accusation that he's racist, but that's about the best they can do.

1. He does not promote a facts-free cult personality, making every single daily rotation of our planet, about himself.

2. For the most part, you can assume he's not making shit up as he goes.

3. He understand global politics, and in his short term in office, he fixed the damage done to our global standing, following a disastrous Trump presidency.

4. When he talks about brining jobs back, he doesn't mean a tax break for big business.

5. He promised an environmentally-driven agenda and he's delivering, and when Congress stalls, he takes it to the people. This is the most important issue for humanity.

6. He is compassionate and delivers on his promise of investing in our country's future: education, research and civil rights.

Yes, he is old, and he's got more than his share of goofs, but none of them are based on bad policy decisions. For instance, the Covid strategy has been about science, not burying one's head in the sand, and suggesting bleach injections.

President Biden was never the choice for most who supported and voted for him. He was, I think, the only choice (among those vying for the presidency), that made sense - he was a transition from what was into a hopefully better future. He wa a decent sort who was more about love than hate, more about the country than about self, more about togetherness than divisiveness, more about reaching out than creating isolationism.... just an overall good guy. Too, he was of the party that had an agenda, not just a party filled with hate of everything not them and zero agenda to actually do anything good for the people and the world.

Then there is that thing you noted... most voters hated (and still do) Trump.
Elessar · 26-30, M
