For All Biden Supporters...

Please list all your reasons, (other than that you hate Trump,) why you think Biden is such a great president.

As far as I'm concerned, all Biden and Obama did, was destroy this country and make it crumble to its knees. But they forgot who they should bow down to, in prayer. God has been completely left out of this Administration.

If it will help we can go to the bar and I'll buy you 2 Corinthians.

@LadyGrace While I respect your values, I really believe it is a stretch to say that God is anywhere in American politics. Rather "God" has been used as branding by both sides to account for some the the least Christian activity imaginable. If the Old Testament God was around to see what has been done in his name by the US government since the fifties there would be a Sodom and Gomorrah shaped hole between Canada and Mexico..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I must agree, sir! 🤣😂 Except for the part where you think God has not been involved in politics. He is very much involved in politics, according to the Bible, where he leads Nations and I'm sure some of our forefathers allowed and sought His leadership, as well.

@LadyGrace I would agree that America was founded by those with the best intentions and at that time there was a heavier reliance on biblical teachings than there is now. However, many of those same founding fathers were slave owners at the time. I dont claim that makes them any lesser men because of it, or because their wives at that time were regarded as not much better than property., Those were the values of that time. But those same values were supported using the bible to bless them...😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I'm just saying God is very much involved in politics. He knows and cares about what goes on in countries and he has given prophecy regarding what is going to happen in the future with Israel, Russia, and China, in His Word.

@LadyGrace The problem with mixing politics and religion is - wouldn't politicians then have to BS their way out of things when people start saying, "Oh this one is the Antichrist!"
I remember some people were SO sure it was Obama. Decent guy, charming, handsome, etc.
Of course, we cannot say those things of Trump or Biden. 😄

PLUS if they based it on religion, wouldn't they have to make it a law about "no work on the day of the Sabbath"? Well, we already know corporations won't have that.

These so-called Christian value politicians are only interested in one part of the old values - being against LGBT which is easy if someone is not LGBT. They sure do not want to have to follow the inconvenient parts of the bible though. Like "no work on the day of the Sabbath."

In fact, a lot of christians call themselves that ONLY because they want to hide behind the Lord as an excuse for their hatred of certain groups. Certain politicians included.
I am not saying you are like this cause clearly you are not.

@LadyGrace As I said at the start, I respect your values.. Lets just say if I were God I would be handling things differently. Although I admit its a tough gig for a guy thousands of years old..😷
@CestManan That first paragraph was funny at the end.

I don't think you're going to find any politicians today, being brave enough to claim they have seen or encountered the Lord. However, the Bible says there are other false prophets and teachers that will do that, and in fact, there have been a few in this day and age claiming to be Christ. Such nonsense.

There is no problem with mixing politics with prayer, as God has already done that. He is sovereign over all. He better be. All through His Word, He shows authority and involvement in historical events, protecting His children. Nations better be praying to God about their political affairs, and what man calls "religion", is really his own selfish man-made philosophies and demands, excluding God, and that's where governments get in trouble and crumble, when not seeking God's wisdom and leadership in their affairs.

Yes, it's something how people want to pick and choose which part of the Bible they're going to believe in. God said we either believe it all or not at all.
In fact, a lot of christians call themselves that ONLY because they want to hide behind the Lord as an excuse for their hatred of certain groups. Certain politicians included.
I really don't know any Christians and have not seen any that wish to hide behind the Lord as an excuse for their hatred of certain groups or politicians. That is not characteristic of a true Christian. However, I know some are out there and I really wish they wouldn't call themselves Christians if they're not going to love people and show them love.
@whowasthatmaskedman Not really. He's as young as could be he never ages. And he knows exactly how to handle everything perfectly because he cannot err. It is man who does such a good job of botching things up.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@LadyGrace Then sadly, since he allows a lot of things like school massacres and many similar events to go unchallenged, I have to say he is just as unqualified to judge me as you would say I am to judge him. Possibly its best if we dont go down this track..😷

@LadyGrace Stick with me if you enjoy someone who can find humor in most things. :)

With false prophets, I do not understand why anyone would fall for that crap. Anyone from the most devout Christian to a true atheist to a satanist should be wise enough to know those guys are full of it. I mean come on, it doesn't take someone of a faith to realize those guys are off their rockers.

Now about some "Religious" groups who hide behind God as an excuse for their hate, there are plenty. The WORST of them is - Westboro Baptist Church. Look up pictures of them, this is what those (you know whats) believe. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they have to answer to God.

A lot of people, including myself, have those thoughts. I am not religious admittedly but I cannot help but think - If there is a God and he created everything, he is probably more powerful than me. Pfft, I cannot even manage to finish re-doing my kitchen, let alone create a planet.

We do not really have much say.

Iit seems God lets a lot of bad stuff happen but what about things he prevents from happening? Types of evil we will never see nor could even comprehend?
I kind of doubt the silly stunts that Lucifer pulls on earth are the true extent of his capabilities.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@CestManan Now the Lucifer of the TV show I could live with...😷
@whowasthatmaskedman The Bible is very clear what he thinks about and which nations He will bless, regarding politics
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@LadyGrace On that we agree.. And what he thought about people like financiers.. Makes you wonder he thinks about todays system really, doesnt it? And of course there is the stuff we lose in translation and the fact all of this is at least three centuries after the event at best before it was written down and edited into the political climate of the day. 😷
