Don't love Biden, but he's done the following:
-reduce America's dependence on oil & gas as prices surge
-facilitate weapons & logistics donations to Ukraine as they fight a fascist invasion of their homeland
-lower drug costs
-tried to pass funding for universal pre-K, childcare
-withdrew from Afghanistan, ordered the killing of an Al-Qaeda leader with a missile made of swords
-released a tax plan which would raise $1.5 trillion from the rich over the course of 10 years, largely through capital gains rates
-Sending secretary of state to Brazil to make their democracy more resistant to anti-democratic forces

Overall, Biden has been the most economically responsible President in my entire lifetime, and the only one who's treated the threat of rising fascism with the gravity it warrants. Tons of shit he should be doing that he's not, but I'm happy to lend him my support if he can help pull us out of the fire.

@BlueVeins At your age compared to the people replying, I wouldn't make a reply of that sort. All these people seen a lot more in their lifetime and some do know better about the situation the country is in right now, but you do have the right to reply, of course, just think about it before you do it. read all the other replies first. I do admire your courage though. 👍 🙂

@BlueVeins -reduce America's dependence on oil & gas as prices surge? Biden hasn't reduced dependence on oil or gas. Yes, he is pushing his EV agenda, but hasn't done anything to reduce gas or oil use except cause the surge in oil and gas prices which is hurting everyone.

@SW-User Plenty of people are stuck in their toddler phase mentally and never grow out of it, throwing a fit whenever things don't go their way. Age doesn't define maturity, and you can clearly see in many of the other comments on here. 😊👍

Tens of billions in tax breaks of dollars for wind, solar, & hydro infrastructure -- made in the US -- in the IFR
Tens of billions in tax breaks for nuclear energy, also in the IFR
Tens of billions in subsidies helping regular Americans electrify home appliances, also in the IFR
$39 billion for modernizing public transit in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
$66 billion more for Amtrak & Freight Rail maintenance and further development

Cars use oil, you donut. Advancing EV technology reduces oil in itself; even if you just burned oil to make the power that cars use (which isn't how the whole energy grid works), you'd still be greatly reducing oil usage bc EVs are much more efficient than gas-powered cars.
except cause the surge in oil and gas prices which is hurting everyone.
Not actually how that happened. Oil use went down during the lockdowns & recession under Trump. A lot of drilling sites & refineries had to close down, which sucks bc those things are expensive as shit. When the economy started back up, there was a massive labor shortage, meaning it would've been more expensive to either open new drilling sites & refineries or refurbish old ones. The oil companies have known for a while that they're quickly approaching obsolescence, so they decided to cash out and take advantage of the high prices instead of increasing supply.

Meanwhile, Exxon has more than doubled its profits from FY 2021 to FY 2022. BP got a healthy 50% bump and Shell's profits went up by 80%. These oil companies pretend they've been so hurt by Biden's decision not to sell oil & gas leases on federal land -- a move which has long since been reversed, by the by -- but they're making money hand over fist off of your suffering, daring you to stop buying their shitty product. All Biden did was take them up on that challenge.

@Elessar Thank you very much for the explanation. I'd also like to add that some people are thousands of years more mature despite being younger just from sheer brane size and superior intelligence.

It's me. I'm some people.
@BlueVeins speak this more,, and to more people
