Republicans increasing use of intimidation around ballot boxs

Republicans are resorting to intimidation to dissuade Democrats from voting in some areas.

Clearly these uneducated unemployed Republicans have nothing better to do with their days than hang out near voting stations trying to intimidate voters.
TAReturns · M
Throughout my lifetime the Republicans have been “Government of the rich by the rich for the rich” tricking the uneducated poor into believing it’s in their best interests to vote for them. This avalanched considerably in the last 6 years

@samueltyler2 Game, Set, Match. You have no retort
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 you posted that one before, how is it related?
You can hang around a polling station with a rifle but you can't give voters a bottle of water.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
Republican accusations are always confessions. They have nothing to offer and that has been for decades.

Duck dynasty rejects really are *speshiuel* people.
Slade · 56-60, M
@Crazywaterspring as opposed to twink boys rejects such as yourself

Get ready for the bloodbath electorally. One week away!

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
We saw intimidation tactics by the black panthers in Philadelphia in 2008, so it’s nothing new. Politicians on both sides will say little about it unless they feel it hurts their chances. If such tactics work they’ll remain silence and feign ignorance.
@samueltyler2 If they’re acting out in a violent manner yes they are violent and they need to be subject to all federal, state and local laws.
But if you go to vote, see such characters regardless of their/ your political view(s), are YOU going to let THEM intimidate you?
@samueltyler2 For shits and giggles given what we’ve seen of people so described, ANTIFA, perhaps?
Again though if you let them intimidate
you that is on you, not them.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@soar2newhighs Yep, same thing. But seems to be more widespread this time, in multiple locations.

I live in the Northeast, which is a Democratic bastion. Strangely, I’ve never seen Republican intimidation of any type, ever.

I do always see a bunch of old gray hairs, older that I am, chatting, having coffee and extolling the virtues of their candidates.

The only chance any of them would be intimidating would be if one was to suddenly choke on a donut or go into respiratory duress.

I call bullshit.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Adogslife So you're one of the last liberal northeastern Republicans. I haven't seen one in awhile.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@windinhishair Yes, that’s somewhat true. The party is shifting right which is against my beliefs, particularly when it comes to the separation of Church and state.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Adogslife The rightward shift has been so profound that Ronald Reagan would be unelectable today as a Republican, despite being a right-wing politician in his time. And that is in less than a 40 year period. I have relatives that were elected and served as Republicans in the state senate in a northeastern state, and they would be horrified to see what their party has become, were they still living.

Your kidding right ? Voter fraud is the Democrats bread and butter !
redredred · M
Watching what’s actually going on is not intimidation unless one is afraid of what will be seen.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@soar2newhighs reread what you wrote being aggressive against the armed, masked crowd.
@samueltyler2 I think I insinuated they could be ANTIFA. If that’s what you’re referring to; yes I believe that is possible.
redredred · M
@trollslayer I guess that’s what we call “tough”
If Republicans are using 'intimidation', then it must be because they believe that their candidate can't win without it. People who vote early have already decided who they will vote for. The people doing the intimidating aren't making the Republicans look good.
@softspokenman not much has changed
[image deleted]same thing just a different time
@markansas 👍
Not all Republicans.

Just the expendable pawn/foot soldiers.
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@justanothername] 🤷‍♂️ sorry why is this intimidation happening that is your democratic right to vote for who ever
smiler2012 · 56-60

@Slade childish
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
Oh please both sides have a history of it
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@windinhishair of course in the 60s & 70s it was the KKK and Black Patnter Party both democrat and socialist idology. Both used racism and weapons in their efforts.
And anyone saying its republicans doing racist shit news flash 98% of Americans can give fuck less about the fake bullshit associated with race. The 2% is the race hustlers like Al Sharpton and the racists but race has always been the DNC trump card.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Ozuye502 Please provide your evidence within the past, say, 40 years. The fact you had to go back 50 or 60 years to find something that supports your claim shows just how bogus it is.

It is interesting that you support racism as long as most Americans don't care. It is like saying that you can kill someone and if most Americans don't give a fuck, then it is just fine and dandy. Republicans run on racist issues, and that is just plain wrong and despicable. But it works, which is why they do it.
Ynotisay · M
@Ozuye502 But you don't have any example of 'both sides' doing it, right? Just saying it makes it true I guess, huh? Must be a trippy world you live in dude. Just think shit, or repeat bullshit you're fed, and it becomes fact. But it's the dirty Dems who are the 'snowflakes' and "sheep," right? Yeah. That's cute.

In the wake of the 15th Amendment and Reconstruction, several southern states enacted laws that limited Black Americans' access to voting.

If you're intimidated by the kind of people who do stuff like this then you deserve to be intimidated, honestly.

Neckbeards shouldn't scare anyone.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Who writes your stuff, Professor Irwin Corey?
@sunsporter1649 Two “skells”, ‘08 Intimidation in Philadelphia.
@samueltyler2 the fellow on the left is King Samir Shabazz and the following clip has Mr. Shabazz advocating for the murder of whites and white children.......

(The Democrats' FBI initially ruled the Scalise shooting a "suicide by cop" when it was clear the nutcase specifically wanted to kill Republicans. FBI can't be trusted anymore.)

...and on and on.
@Zonuss cite the violence: where, when and how?
@Zonuss That guy is a Canadian immigrant who supported Obama .. hardly a staunch Republican ..

How about Rand Paul?

The Republican softball team that had members shot ?

Supreme court justices houses with threatening mobs outside that Schumer and others encouraged?

Months of BLM violence and riots in 2021 encouraged by Waters, Harris and others?

Please.

You mean us watching you is preventing you from stuffing ballot boxes is intimidating ? Good !
Do you have proof or are you just stirring the shit pot

If we want to know what Democrats are up to, just look at whatever they are accusing Republicans of.

I live in a small village, where no one messes with each other, but the MAGA vibe is in the area. I think I'd enjoy one of those gutless punks trying to intimidate me.

On the bright side, you can be an election denier if things don’t go your way.

Other than random accusations, is there any evidence that this is trues?
Human1000 · M
Power by any means is the goal of Republicans -- death threats, doxing, intimidation, limiting the vote. Anything goes for them.

Although their voters are a minority, they think it's their country. Republicans are no longer republicans (lower case "r"). It's a radicalized minority with an absolute will to power. Sad but true. 😐

It's the only way they can win!!
@Harriet03 like the dems stuffing the box in 2020
