Update: Got the booster. No lines, no hassles, no pain, no side effects. Not even warmth at the injection site.
If anyone is putting off vaccination or the booster because of fears about the process, it can be easy and pain-free. Don't let those fears stand in your way.

@Graylight I miss the vaccine clinics. Going to CVS was a mess.

SW-User
@SW-User Went to Walgreens. It wasn't as organized as the original clinics but, it could have been worse. The technician was very good though. I only had a little soreness this morning at the injection site.

The Scottish Rugby Federation required her to be vaccinated in order to be on the team. She got the vaccine and it killed her. Now they just want to forget she existed.
You are willfully ignorant

Yeah, you keep making that claim, yet as we have seen here, you have no basis for your claim

I did yesterday. And woke up this morning feeling like I had been trampled by a stampeding herd of elephants. Everything hurt, insatiable thirst, chills, super tired. Spent the morning thanking God that I was still alive, and it wasn't getting worse. Finally came around at about noon, 24 hours after the shot.
Carazaa · F
@PTCdresser57 I think it is a great idea to drink a lot of liquids too. That's what I did, and I ate an egg breakfast before and a banana right after. I had no side effects at all. Maybe that's the reason. It just made some sense to have lots of good nutrition in my blood stream to lessen the shock of the vaccine

The part where a weekly peer-reviewed medical journal, among the world's oldest and best-known, ranked with The New England Journal of Medicine, and which is accompanied by 12 complementary specialist journals, is not a ‘legit’ source.
So, how are you getting on with that study from The Lancet?
What part of not legit source did you not understand?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout A rare condition?? No, it isn’t
Acute pericarditis in a 36-year old?? What’s surprising about that?
The cause can be either bacterial or viral. What was the diagnosed cause of his pericarditis, and how long long after his vaccination did it occur?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout No, I said that it isn’t rare
With 807,000 covid deaths in the US (and climbing), I wouldn’t refer to covid deaths are rare.
In all, I’m not sure what you’re trying to say
To repeat:

Why? the so-called 'vaccines' aren't necessary neither are the boosters. Is it not strange that it doesn't matter which original jab pair you got (pfizer, modern, az, etc.) but the only booster you can get is pfizer. Mixing and matching drugs is generally not the done thing. I bet there's been NO studies about contra-indications, side-effects, etc. as everyone getting the shots are part of the experiement!
butterflybaby75 · 46-50, F
@QuixoticSoul Here is oz Pfizer 'comirnaty' (identical to the drug people got already if they chose to get Pfizer's version) is the only one allowed here in Australia. My concern is that the drugs are not identical that have been provided originally - ie. pfizer is different chemically to Az which is different to moderna which is different again from sinopharm, etc. That implies bio-chemical compatibility issues.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@butterflybaby75 It does not imply bio-chemical compatibility issues at all, why would it?
Ultimately both pfizer and moderna vaccines force your body to make the same spike protein, which gives your adaptive immune system some exercize. Sinopharm is a traditional deactivated virus vaccine, but ultimately the principle is similar enough.

the TGA has now 'authorised' covax for children aged 5 to 11 subject to 'being approved' by ATAGI (a supposedly independent-of-government body).
I am not pushing my adult children get Covax and leave it entirely up to them to make their own choice.

FDA approval here in the States does not mean a product is safe. It only means something is either the best option or the only option. The FDA does not do any of it’s own research. @butterflybaby75

@onrealityofdreams Where should we send the flowers?
@acpguy A single flower in a vase would be a nice touch to go along with the barbeque ribs and with that I'd like sides of cole slaw and baked beans. I want a beer to wash that down - make it a Budweiser. Thanks.
