Why? the so-called 'vaccines' aren't necessary neither are the boosters. Is it not strange that it doesn't matter which original jab pair you got (pfizer, modern, az, etc.) but the only booster you can get is pfizer. Mixing and matching drugs is generally not the done thing. I bet there's been NO studies about contra-indications, side-effects, etc. as everyone getting the shots are part of the experiement!

@butterflybaby75 You can get a moderna booster too, and in fact, it is currently seen as the most effective.

And it's not at all surprising that you can mix and match boosters. All vaccines in the US use ribosomes in your cells to produce the same spike proteins to trigger an immune response - it would be strange if you couldn't mix and match them.

The studies are widely available.

I got my moderna booster last week. So there is that...

@QuixoticSoul Here is oz Pfizer 'comirnaty' (identical to the drug people got already if they chose to get Pfizer's version) is the only one allowed here in Australia. My concern is that the drugs are not identical that have been provided originally - ie. pfizer is different chemically to Az which is different to moderna which is different again from sinopharm, etc. That implies bio-chemical compatibility issues.

@butterflybaby75 It does not imply bio-chemical compatibility issues at all, why would it?

Ultimately both pfizer and moderna vaccines force your body to make the same spike protein, which gives your adaptive immune system some exercize. Sinopharm is a traditional deactivated virus vaccine, but ultimately the principle is similar enough.

It depends on what country you are in if you can mix the "vaccines" and which ones are available
