@Tiredandlonely a tax refund and a total tax paid are two different things. On its face, your question makes no sense. I don’t believe for a second that you don’t support him.
Oh right, I'll explain this. Trump goes on and on and on about how he's richer than God, so if he's richer than God it stands to reason he must pay a shitload in taxes but if he's only paying $750 in tax it means either he's lying about being richer than god OR he's a tax cheat.
They were fine with Obama getting rich in the white house and moochie vacationing with an entourage on the tax payers dime but don't like Trump who works for free.

I overpaid my taxes last year because I have to pay estimated taxes. For all intents and purposes, ingavebthebUSban interest free loan. But, even though I got a refund, I still paid many times more in taxes than $750 and I drive a Ford, live in a modest home, and don't stiff all of the workman who help me!
There is bigger question in here about billiknaire tax avoidance that people should be angry about. Trump though is a particularly awful case cos he bends the rules so far they break. Hence his legal dispute with the IRS.
The idea that a tax refund for ordinary Americans is the same thing as a coorupt billionaire cheating his taxes to pay less than a teacher... is for the birds. Its such a ridiculous and desperate straw clutchibg argument.
In spite of cheating his taxes, he still managed to get a few of his companies bankrupt. Every time he protected his owm assets and left other people to get screwed. He's funded his lavish lifetyle on debt whilst building a brand based on bullshit. Which is all, come to think of it, a really apt analogy for the Trump presedency.

He doesn't take a salary, because he charges the government $Ms for stays at his properties. $3 for each glass of water served at Mar-a-Lago. The reason he has his state dinners at mar-a-lago, is do he can avoid paying for white house state dinners. Yes, the President has to pay for that.

@Stray4life 50% limit is the rule. As an aside, it's not exactly clear if his strategies are completely legal at the moment hence the decade-long audit - and extreme levels of tax avoidance bother people because we expect those who benefit the most from the system's existence to pitch in like everyone else.
The easiest way to lower your tax burden is losing money. There were lots of years Trump didn't pay any taxes at all.
People will be mad about anything . All his own money he has been using for the US also so its just dumb he donates it to black colleges and poor communities.
