Acquitted does NOT mean innocent. you first would have had to conduct a real trial in the senate but as we know , Trump owns Mitch McConnell who in turn has control of 99% of the republican senators. Only Mitt Romney had the courage to look for the truth in this and not be like the other senators that were only interested in voting for the acquittal before any first hand witnesses or documents were introduced that would only confirm Trumps guilt. Mitch McConnell said publicly before the charges were send to the senate that he didnt want any furter evidence because he was going to have the republicans he and Trump owned vote to acquit anyway. so we knew the trial part was nothing more than a sham before it even got started. even though the acquittal went through as promised , the truth will still come out over the next few months and the 75% of all the Americans that wanted to hear the witnesses and see the documents will still get that information. Trump cant keep everything buried no matter how much he may try. im only hoping that my fellow Independents will help sway the upcoming elections of those coward republican senators that put their own political greed above their duty to the Americans they are supposed to serve and ensure they lose those elections. the way Trump is getting rid of everyone that didnt back his lies only proves that he is a thug. hes trying to be the second "teflon DON" , to me he is the Don Gotti of capital hill, their methods are the same and as Trump said in public ,, he could shoot someone on 5th ave ,, and nothing would happen to him. personally i cant wait till his mouth and actions finally sink him so far that even his billions cant buy his way out.
@fireandice69 I question the credibility of those who are complaining about the decision of Acquittal. It is a known fact that it is the house who is responsible for putting the entire case together, calling witnesses doing the research. As usual the house with a majority being democrats should have done their job. The democrats don’t do anything but follow trump around trying to find the smallest piece of dirt and turning it over to the fake media. Are you blind. Re-read-my post above. Our President is the best President ever. Apparently the haters don’t appreciate accomplishments. President Trump is a business man he can’t be bought, he makes things happen, he is not Presidential what ever that means. I see everyone else now is using social media why not transparency. Being a business nan one changes his mind from time to time, his honesty far exceeds any politician ever. His campaign promises are for the most part are completed except the wall. Every president prior said they were going to close our borders and he is the only one working on it. @MarineBob here my sweet.. fill your boots.. there's a shed load of info all confirming that we don't teach kids here about it.. simply because it was pretty insignificant to us in the scheme of things we are taught about kings and queens, we are taught about some wars but really just a few because there were so many

I cite Romans, we do learn about Romans and vikings and OUR history, of which there is a vast amount to get through..
