I can't claim to have made that one up.. my son was reading out several and that was my favourite..

He's so easy to make the butt of jokes..

My favorite joke, is that he's the President of the nation with the most powerful military in the world, and someone who, despite being abhor-able, the Queen of England is more than happy to roll out the red carpet for.

I guess the joke is on us.

President Obama met with the Dalai Lama, on four separate occasions, that I'm aware of. The last was in June of 2016, over the objections of China. To quote the Chinese foreign ministry, at the time:

If the United States plans this meeting, it will send the wrong signal to Tibet independence and separatist forces and harm China-U.S. mutual trust and cooperation.

The 14th Dalai Lama is not simply a religious figure but a political figure in exile who has been conducting secessionist activities internationally under the pretext of religion. We need to emphasize that the Tibetan issue is China's internal affairs and other countries do not have any right to interfere with this.

China had previously contested all previous meetings between President Obama and the Dalai Lama.

So, when you say:

@soar2newhighs Well.. .protocol.. and doing things properly.. aren't necessarily bad things. For sure the Brits can hold their head up high.. they treated the imbecile to a fine time and gave him his desired pomp and ceremony.. The Brits were utterly gracious and dignified..

@soar2newhighs Like I said, you should look it up, rather than rely on your 100% incorrect sources.

The President and the Dalai Lama, on that occasion, did not meet in the Oval Office. It was not available, so they met in the Map Room. The President was scheduled to do a campaign appearance for Hillary, but the Orlando nightclub shooting happened, so he cancelled, but had enough time to meet with the Dalai Lama in the Map Room.

"cowering" means he would not meet with him, or if he does, he would not publicize it. It does not mean, meet with his four times, over objections and threats from China.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong, or support Trump at all costs?

I do not support Trump at all costs, but the thing is though I may post things you see as Trump support, I do not support him 100%. But you got any recommendations IYO who I should support? That'd be interesting. Sorry Trump gets under your skin, but you need to get over it. Like I said, come 2020, we'll see.@Northwest

@soar2newhighs I just have basic knowledge. For instance, I know we landed on the moon multiple times, and I know that the story of President Obama meeting with the Dalai Lama in secret, is horseshit.

This is BASIC knowledge. You sir, have none, so don't get all confused about my "expertise".

It's not my disdain for Trump, and those who support him, it's sadness at seeing how many of my compatriots got taken by a con man.
