We buried our dog yesterday. The kids are taking it hard.

I picked up my cats urn today and found myself holding the box on the drive home similar to the way I would her carrier.
I also keep turning to see what she's doing whenever I hear a noise in the house and stuff like that.

It's so hard. We lost a dog recently too. 😢

I am sorry to hear this. I have not had a dog in years, but I remember each one and the sorrow of losing them. I bond intensely with my pets. They become family.

A dog shaped hole in your life can be very hard to fill any other way...😷
