Yes, it's inconsiderate of her. Can't you tell her about it? I think you need to be a little assertive when you share with someone otherwise they just take advantage.

I think it is inconsiderate of her, for sure. I also agree that having the 'speaker' on in supposedly private conversations, when the other person is unaware, is at the very least an invasion of privacy.

I wouldn't use the word 'rude'. Perhaps one of these: 'inconsiderate', thoughtless', 'selfish', 'insensitive', 'unaware'? Possibly even 'soon-to-be-ex-roomate'?
