Is it Rude

My roommate comes in the room with her call or video on while I am on the computer or watching my tv show. I hate when people carry on a conversation with the speaker on. I would not do that with the person I'm on the phone with. It' an invasion of privacy for me.

It is rude but, sadly, it is increasingly common. People shouting into facetime calls on trains, in airport lounges, in the street... it is everywhere!
