Is it Rude

My roommate comes in the room with her call or video on while I am on the computer or watching my tv show. I hate when people carry on a conversation with the speaker on. I would not do that with the person I'm on the phone with. It' an invasion of privacy for me.

Yes, it's inconsiderate of her. Can't you tell her about it? I think you need to be a little assertive when you share with someone otherwise they just take advantage.
