@Mudkip I like Star Wars, I do. But I’m bigger Dune nerd than Star Wars nerd and honestly George Lucas stole most of his Star Wars universe ideas from Frank Herbert’s Dune anyways. The similarities are way too uncanny for it not to be. That being said… Star Wars is totally its own thing now and I do like it, just Dune more.

Yes that story is an absolute hot mess unless you play every spinoff game from the main series. Even then it still makes the head spin a bit. But who cares, it's got Mickey Mouse.

@DarkHeaven I mostly kid...it's really not that terrible to follow. The issue is that they released the games KH 1, 2, and 3...which a lot of people played. And then they released a bunch of spin off games in between that not so many people played. Well those spin off games had ALOT of plot in them that was required knowledge to understand what was going on in the main games. So if you had only been playing the main games in the series you were pretty much lost as far as the plot goes.

@Benjago I get ya. Same thing PnP DnD had going on with 3.5. Bloat of content and 4e just sucked. So 5e finally reset the deck so to speak.

Let's back up some. I've played the main numbered games but none of the portable device ones. So catch me up on what I'm missing. Or, why don't we go play through all of them together to get me on your footing and then we can go from there.

At least that would be my approach. Makes a good bonding activity to get caught up with the basics together and then she can drag me into deep details.
