Or until she shows you her pokemon binder lol
@Mudkip or pulls out her dice for pen and paper DnD. lol
@Mudkip mine are rainbow. 😌

@DarkHeaven pics or I don't believe you 👀
@Mudkip it’ll have to wait. there at my house in the country and I’m at my parents in town. I will, though. They are really pretty.

@DarkHeaven ok I believe you 👀
I have a binder, but I'm at work rn. I can show you later as well. I did show a card to someone here, here it is
@Mudkip cool. my nieces and nephews have a bunch. some of them are really valuable too and very pretty. they tell me they are full art shineys, I think. I don’t quite understand the card game but it kind of reminds me of magic the gathering.
Mudkip · 31-35, M
@DarkHeaven yeah, full arts and alternate arts are pretty much the most expensive bracket. I play and collect, it's much more simpler than magic. I play magic too, but not as much as before
@Mudkip I’m 48 so we didn’t have as much of that stuff when I was younger, so I’m just a DnD pen and paper nerd. lol
@Mudkip but the cards are neat.

@DarkHeaven I've always wanted to play dnd but haven't gotten to it. And yeah, when i started collecting pokemon cards, they weren't so much as what they are now. Just basic arts.
@Mudkip DnD kinda came at the perfect time for me. I’m definitely an arts, sci fi, and fantasy nerd in books, film, and music but the drummer in my first band was a big time DnD geek and we were going a lot of gigs out of town and overnight and often had a lot of time on our hands and would get bored (you can’t practice all the time.) So it was a perfect opportunity for him to introduce us to pen and paper gaming and it just kinda stuck after that. Might not have done it otherwise because there weren’t a lot of girls gaming 30 years ago.

@DarkHeaven ahhh I see. Yeah I'm a huge nerd too. Love sci fi too, especially star wars. But anyway, maybe one day I'll give dnd a try. It looks interesting tbh
@Mudkip I like Star Wars, I do. But I’m bigger Dune nerd than Star Wars nerd and honestly George Lucas stole most of his Star Wars universe ideas from Frank Herbert’s Dune anyways. The similarities are way too uncanny for it not to be. That being said… Star Wars is totally its own thing now and I do like it, just Dune more.
Mudkip · 31-35, M
@DarkHeaven ohhh, I didn't know that. I honestly don't know anything about dune. But if it's anything similar to Star Wars, I'd definitely be interested in watching the films
@Mudkip
“Star Wars, too, bears signs of Jodorowsky's influence, and George Lucas clearly took inspiration from the Herbert book in his depiction of the desert planet of Tatooine, with its monstrous sand creatures and tenacious natives in the Tusken Raiders.”
