A new level of WTF!

Really? Please tell me people don't actually fall for this...

Fishy · F
It doesn't say it's vegan so I ain't touching it 🌝
@Fishy plus it has dangerous chemicals. Spread the word.

icedsky · 51-55, M
Only 7.95 a bottle
Well technically… they’re not wrong. lol
SW-User
The sad thing is, people will fall for it, and will pay a premium for it! I wish I'd thought of this!😭💷
Ontheroad · M
@SW-User Not will, already have!
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
I believe this is known as what they call, 'a joke'.

@Fable A bigger scam is that the bottled water they sell at Disneyland, Dasani, is also tapwater and owned by Coca-Cola.

I'm not buying that crap

doesn't say non-gmo or ethically produced.
Yeah...but is it organic? And pesticide free?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
LilPrincess · 41-45, F
Probably just like those that think smart water makes them smart 🙄
LilPrincess · 41-45, F
@Ontheroad i just got a Keurig. My water was horrible on my previous coffee maker
Ontheroad · M
@LilPrincess problem solved - actually I was quite surprised by clean it kept the water in both espresso maker and Keurig. Enjoy it!
LilPrincess · 41-45, F
@Ontheroad will do
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
My cousin used to joke that you could sell americans powdered water - (just add water) I guess he wasn't too far off.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
With the correct labeling and marketing you can sell people anything . The trick is to make it slightly more expensive than the other similar products, but make your own product seem like the healthier option. Then they willing pay you more.
Ontheroad · M
@Longleggedlady bingo! Sad but true.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Ontheroad There are many many very gullible consumers that need to be satisfied that they really need to buy utter rubbish.
Jimmy2016 · 61-69, M
🤔..............Better stock up on it, it's going to sell fast............
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I would hope that the manufacturer of this product is being tongue in cheek.

I'm guessing that it sells very well, to people who realize the label is ridiculous and find the whole thing to be a hilarious joke.

Heck, I might buy one, just to have it to show people and laugh over it together.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
My favorite is the Cheerios box that says "100% oats" and "Gluten-free."
@SW-User Technically, cashews are not nuts.
SW-User
@BrewCityBarfly Could still kill ya sadly
@SW-User Kind of my point because a person could be fine with cashews and not true nuts, hence the warning label.
LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." H.L. Menken

Of course, you can say that about any country.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
They might as well add “fat-free”, “zero carbs”, Paleo, Keto, and “chemical-free” to the label while they are at it.
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@ontheroad] 😆 surly whoever labelled these must believe there isa sucker born every minute
LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
Yes! Just what I've been waiting for. Where can I get some? 🙂
Northwest · M
Sadly, it's a real thing. They also sell merchandise, backpacks, etc.

They claim the water comes from Mount Palomar natural springs (California), and that makes it gluten free.

Bottled water is big business, and somehow they sell customers on the idea that this is good for the environment.
Ontheroad · M
Sadly says it all...
Convivial · 26-30, F
Well it is true ...
@Convivial Gluten is the least of our worries. This product contains a very dangerous chemical compound.

LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
@DarkHeaven DHMO can be found in baby food manufactured by American corporations and sold to unsuspecting consumers in developing countries. Shameful! 🤨
@LeeInTheNorthWoods it’s so wrong.
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
I had a friend (light hair colour) buy diet vodka. Claimed it had 1/2 the calories
And she paid extra for it

Reading the label, the alcohol was only 40 proof so it was obviously cut 1/2 with water.
And people buy it!!

I used to pull that shit off with my parents booze…I used to get grounded!
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
But i bet its really gluten free😁
Lilymoon · F
🤦‍♀️
sexylady89 · F
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wol62 · 51-55, M
Well, considering they fall for "It's only had one previous owner..." line when buying a used car, why not?
pride49 · 31-35, M
The length of stupidity in the rich, environmental morons and health nuts, is boundless. Such morons.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Hey, good way to make money off the poor suckers who follow that shot religiously. 😂
If being sold in Cali, probably has this warning:
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
Maybe it comes with negative calories
Max41 · 26-30, M
How much they pay for tonic water ?
SW-User
@Max41 I think tonic water is slightly different, but I don't get why anyone pays for bottled water when it costs about $2 for 1,000 litres of tap water.

@Stereoguy I'm as liberal as they come, and I fecking WISH I'd thought of this! (I don't fall for bottled water let alone "gluten free" water)
