@xbandoleerx the picture you posted shows a woman doing everything around the house why is that? Where is the man in all this? Why is he not helping her? Did she give birth alone? Where is the man???? Why is the woman cooking cleaning and taking care of two children alone??

@Collegegirl23 Your questions are brilliant I must say 🤓 you come up with suppositions and assumptions which will make Einstein & Newton wonder if they accomplished anything by in their life time or it is you who is performing their share of tasks.
In my opinion this painting was probably made when this woman was alone in the house 😂😅 it seems you are keen to see every moment of her life 😝 that’s asking for too much from the artist.

You could say women have been created. This understanding of womanhood as in pressed into traditional repressive social norms is artificial and a creation.
This picture is so wrong in so many ways but it also shows the way women are percieved and how we, whether we want to or not combine running a household with raising kids and taking care of their extra needs while not gaining any respect or proper ressources to deal with being put in this situation by men.

I don’t understand a few things.
First, why women don’t like doing what’s been shown in this image? What’s wrong with running a home or cooking or doing grocery?its your life & no one is forcing you to do it. There are many women who choose to love the way they like. Those who dislike this pic have the option to live like them. It’s all about choices. You have the option to marry a guy who is willing to stay home n take care of it. Marriage is a contract so have the right clauses. You have equal rights. Take care of your man, work your *** off and bring home livelihood after beating the rest of the world.
Secondly, this pic is acknowledging women’s role in our lives & still you are lamenting.
And last but most important, this post was not dedicated to ordinary women but to those special women who have brought us into this world, raised us & watched us, irrespective of our gender, grow n be successful.

@xbandoleerx Women should be equal and be able to take part in political decision making. Religion and State need to be speperated (don't know how that is in your country) and discrimination based on gender, race or sexual orientation must be fought and taken seriously. There are no natural hierarchies only created ones. Women can lead too and more democracy is needed in the economy anyway and that everywhere

@bijouxbroussard Even in the world of insemination, this rings true. Now, somewhere, don't make me find it, there is research into how to artificially produce sperm, as the amount of chromosomes from the sperm that go into making a fetus are much lesser. Not sure if this is how the author of the post meant, though.
