You could say women have been created. This understanding of womanhood as in pressed into traditional repressive social norms is artificial and a creation.

This picture is so wrong in so many ways but it also shows the way women are percieved and how we, whether we want to or not combine running a household with raising kids and taking care of their extra needs while not gaining any respect or proper ressources to deal with being put in this situation by men.

Well, if it were wrong women would have broken this cycle.
I know women who are doctors surgeons and surgeons who envy the stay home wives.

That's a bad take since often women don't have an alternative because their husband would or is not able to take a break from work to look after the child or childcare facillities are not available besides if you were socialised with certain expectations you do not see alternatives.

They may envy them because they only wanted to stay home the first few years or they have a romanticised idea of what it means to be a stay at home mom... anyway anecdotal evidence is not strong. Don't men want to be stay at home dads?

@xbandoleerx just saw you are from Pakistan perfect example of a partriarchal society. Domestic violence cases and honor killings of women are a problem in your country right?

@xbandoleerx I'm from Romania but am an internationalist and my people have historically been nomads.

What made you mad? That I am able to read analysis of pakistan society from women living there or from International researchers?
