I Am Curious About Adult Spanking

To shed some light on the subject... I am in a consenting DD/lg relationship. It isn’t so much about receiving the spanking so much as knowing someone who loves you is willing to guide you in a direction that is beneficial to your everyday life. Receiving a spanking is a humbling, trusting consentual act between me and my boyfriend. He knows the different types and what kind I need, when I need it.

Just to clear the air there are different types there are sensual spankings, therapy spankings, punishment spankings, role play spankings and then hardcore spankings. No if spanking led to a spanking fetish most of us would have one. In someone with a spanking fetish, something else set them up to have a fetish and it settled on spanking but could have been something else.

I don’t know but I do think there is some type of sick crossover from childhood experiences.

I was spanked all my growing up years... not just spanked but downright abused. I can't understand why an adult would want to subject themselves to that sort of "discipline" but I've also never had a spanking, as an adult, in that context with a lover so....

I think the reasons would vary and may also with adults depend on the partner.
