I Am Curious About Adult Spanking

I am wondering why an adult person would want to submit to a spanking. Also I wonder if being spanked as a child leads to a spanking fetish.

For me, did get spankings as a child but did NOT enjoy it. Today, I do enjoy submitting my bare ass to my wife for a spanking. I do it for the pleasure of giving up control to my wife. Not sure if that helps
