I Am Curious About Adult Spanking

I am wondering why an adult person would want to submit to a spanking. Also I wonder if being spanked as a child leads to a spanking fetish.
If anybody has any thoughts on the subject I welcome your input.

I was spanked all my growing up years... not just spanked but downright abused. I can't understand why an adult would want to subject themselves to that sort of "discipline" but I've also never had a spanking, as an adult, in that context with a lover so....

Not really it’s different when you as the Spankee is in charge. Abuse you have no say in what happens
