Kamala Harris in the US presidential debate

Kamala Harris seems to think we care about her upbringing. She is trying to manipulate Americans. Kamala has said that Donald Trump wants a bloodbath in the US, when he does not. Does she think these cheap, malicious lies are going to make her win?

She also does not want states to determine their abortions laws.
missyann · 56-60
I think she does. Sadly, no respect for the dignity of human life. It is disgusting.
@missyann
then what are you worried about?
As stated above with many examples, I'm worried about women who are suffering and sometimes dying because they can't get appropriate care in their own states.

I'm worried about the fact that:
Analysis of federal public health data found that from 2019 to 2022, the rate of maternal mortality cases in Texas rose by 56%, compared with just 11% nationwide during the same time period.

Arguably, prohibition did more harm than good; I'm worried that Dobbs may do the same.
Prohibition was enacted to protect individuals and families from the “scourge of drunkenness.” However, it had unintended consequences including: a rise in organized crime associated with the illegal production and sale of alcohol, an increase in smuggling, and a decline in tax revenue.
missyann · 56-60
@ElwoodBlues Honestly, I do not I’ve just been talking to my pro life group. If I cannot find it, I will correct myself.

I should’ve had that available before I posted I do apologize
missyann · 56-60
@missyann nytimes.com/2022/10/30/upshot/legal~abortions~fall~roe.html#:.text=in the first two months after the Supreme Court

Do you realize that Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics do not have to report the number of abortions they perform? So it’s really hard to know exact numbers.

Thank you for being polite when you asked for statistics. People don’t have to be rude and hateful. Just because we disagree. I truly wish everyone was as polite. Again, thank youI’m

That debate was 3 debators against one.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@Aliveshock Is that all you've got? 😳
I gave you examples of Soviet/Russian technology, and all you can say is "sounds like a lot of crying"? Why would I cry? Over what? Your Russophobia?
@Bellatrix2024
Please stay the way you are in your backward 2nd rate military. Wrestle with Ukraine. They will get their revenge comrade.

She is a typical leftist
@MasterLee And has the record for being the most progressive out there…
I remember her in the 2020 primary debates talking about how she was that little girl who got bussed...implication she was a poor minority. Yesterday, she kept bringing up how she was a middle class child. Weird how her life story is morphing. Now, considering her father was an econ professor at Standford, and her mother a PhD in nutrition and endocrinology, who did medical research you know that Kamala was a privileged, upper middle class kid.
[@NativePortlander1970 ] ah, Içm sure that's the case, but bussing today is a bit different than it was in the '60s/'70s when Kamala was a kid.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@BizSuitStacy Kamala is a typical politician who lies to get votes.

She is, as you say, upper middle class. Last night, she tried to tell America something different so she could get in power. Trump wants to deal with the problems in America and has no interest in lying about his past to make himself more appealing. Is there anything sincere about Kamala? Does any part of her care about America?
@emiliya you nailed it with her lack of sincerity. Her phoniness is painfully obvious.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Anything but the issues
Eternallight · 26-30, M
They gave her the questions in advance!
emiliya · 22-25, F
@Eternallight The media is desperate for her to win.
Miram · 31-35, F
Your stance about abortion is bizarre and inconsistent with your disclosed background.

Most jewish people support women's right to access healthcare fitting of their individual cases. In fact most if not all jewish religious leaders believe that these decisions shouldn't be made collectively. They cannot be state laws because as already evident they are preventing doctors from prioritizing healthcare and forcing them to break the hippocratic oath.

I am not sure you are really jewish.
Miram · 31-35, F
@sree251

You political anonymous profiles should either get verified or purged.

If you can't say something without hiding, it is not worth saying or being heard.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@Miram “If you can't say something without hiding, it is not worth saying or being heard.”

Just one of his words is worth a million of yours. What are you here for? To accuse others?
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@Bumbles
You do seem wicked, no offense.

Said while being extremely offensive in comparing someone to Nosferatu. How old are you really?
I'll address the word "bloodbath."

Trump has said on several occasions that immigrants in the United States illegally are "poisoning the blood of our country." That's blood, but not "bloodbath."

On March 16, 2024 at a Dayton Ohio rally, Trump predicted the end of U.S. democracy if he loses.

"If we don't win this election, I don't think you're going to have another election in this country," Trump said.

"Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country."

End of Democracy and bloodbath. There you have it.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues @LordShadowfire

Kamala lied in the debate. Do you have anything to say about that?

You are both Democrats, and this means you are both biased. I do not live in the US; I am observing your politics and making comments about it. I read the information and I listen to what Trump says. He spoke about car manufacturing, and did not share a desire for there to be a “bloodbath” in America. This should be the end of the story, should it not? If you are not wrongly claiming he wants a bloodbath in your nation, you are speculating on his reasons for using words like this one. Why can't you give this man a break?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@emiliya Last time we gave him a break, he incited a riot in order to try to overturn election results, and 40 police officers were hurt. But who cares about our democracy, right? As long as we don't hurt his feelings?

Trump has said it will be a bloodbath if he is not elected. Those are his words.

Trump told many, many more lies than Harris did. Do you think those cheap, malicious lies are going to make him win?
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@windinhishair
Trump wants to stop the war in Ukraine because he wants to benefit his benefactor Putin. Trump has been compromised since the 1980s by Russia, and he values Russian money to prop up his wealth. He has laundered billions of rubles through his properties and would have more bankruptcies than the six known without it.

Accusing someone in print, without a shred of evidence, of having committed criminal offenses is libel.
Why would Vladimir Putin, or any other leader of any other nation, even care about the outcome of the US presidential election? If anything, he'd much prefer Kamala Harris to be the president, because he, like so many others, knows she is weak and feeble of mind.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@windinhishair
Trump has said it will be a bloodbath if he is not elected. Those are his words.

And you don't provide any context. How convenient. Context matters, because it can change the entire meaning of a statement.
And I guess you're not familiar with figurative language either. Not everything should be taken literally you know.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Bellatrix2024 When someone tells you that they would be a dictator, but just for a day, you should believe that they will be a dictator.

Context is indeed important. Trump sent an angry mob of insurrectionists to the Capitol to stop the vote counting and stop Biden from being elected. So when Trump talks about "bloodbaths" or other violent rhetoric, we should believe him, because his statements are in that larger context.
PatKirby · M
Does she think these cheap, malicious lies are going to make her win?

Apparently she along with the DemonRat party believe so, yes. It all really depends if their voting constituents will believe it. That's the disturbing aspect because we have within our electorate a segment that is so out of touch with reality that they cannot discern when a dog and pony show is being played out right in front of their eyes.
missyann · 56-60
@PatKirby Absolutely 100% correct
Of course the user collecting Nazi memorabilia thinks this
trollslayer · 46-50, M
Cheap malicious lies… and you support trump?
emiliya · 22-25, F
@trollslayer Trump always tells the truth.
RageAgainstTheMachine · 36-40, M
@emiliya That is a proven, false statement.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@emiliya 😂😂😂 proper funny. 2 overt lies, "lock her up" and "i will release the epstein files". Keep worshipping your statist gods, everything will be great
Convivial · 26-30, F
Ummm, if my memory serves me well it was Trump who urged people to storm the building 🤔
@Convivial Your memory is much more accurate then the responding trolls!
Convivial · 26-30, F
@Aliveshock yes, i know... If denying facts is the best they can do then so be it ...
@Convivial
I do recall this monkey show.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
You can have an opinion but honestly why do you care?
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@emiliya I will not call you anything because I truly don’t know.

What I do know is few people will have the knowledge about a situation like someone that’s experienced it. You can read or be taught all you want.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@Handfull1 You are right. I have been to New York and Chicago, not to other parts of America. Most of you commenting live there. I want to visit the southwest. The ghost towns fascinate me. I would like to see more of the Midwest, the rural parts. I love the Old West.

I think I would feel at home in the southwest. I lived in southern Spain for nine years. Did you know the spaghetti westerns were filmed there?

With regard to politics, I can say that the less the government intervene in our lives, the better it is for us. I have spent the past three years reading and listening to Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell, two great American thinkers. Not only do we have too much government in our lives, they are using their powers to destroy their country, or ignoring the problems they created with their power, allowing them to get out of control while stopping the people from doing anything about it.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@emiliya there is some truth to that. As of today, I rarely feel controlled by the government tho. I suppose if I look closer, things like taxes, laws, regulations, etc. are part of control. If there were none of these, people wouldn’t be happy either.
Do you think there's a democratic process in there somehow? War in Europe, war against China, no socialism no breaks.
@emiliya voters controlling the means of production and communication, making things the best for everyone? Why did you think middle class complacency was superior? A lack of humanity?
emiliya · 22-25, F
@Roundandroundwego There is always going to be a group of people in charge. We call it a government, and it has politicians who went to study law, politics, or economics in university. They are friends with the elites, the bankers and large corporations. We have activists and ideologues too. Our politicians are often friends with criminals, or are criminals themselves. The best thing we can do is give them as little power as possible. The more the government intervenes in our lives, the worse it is.

missyann · 56-60
@MoveAlong Yes, proving you can conquer a tough life, not be a victim. I guess that’s terrible. Talk about and encourage other people not to have the victim mentality
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@missyann dang, you missed the point. Or maybe you are supporting his point?
missyann · 56-60
@trollslayer I love, JD. He is a strong conservative, who has overcome.. He is one reason I’m voting for Trump. If President Trump is unable to complete his four years, I feel very comfortable with him being a president
Poor putin must be feeling the rope around his neck already. 😌
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@Aliveshock
I am thrilled that we give Ukraine weapons and soon they will be inside mother russia. Wait a minute! They already are in Russia

They were kicked out of the Kursk region days ago. Stop watching the neo-con mainstream media. It is clearly rotting your brain.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25, F
@Aliveshock
I don’t tolerate any leader that violates internal laws and norms.

Well then you should hate Barack Obama and Joe Biden as well.
@Bellatrix2024
By now you know you need proof for statements since your credibility has vanished. btw Ukraines will open a 2nd front in addition to Kursk. So much for putin defending russia.

His head will be on the blocks very soon!
@emiliya says
If something is going to be a disaster, you can call it a “bloodbath.”

OK, let's talk about metaphorical bloodbaths. In the debate, Kamala Harris wounded Trump repeatedly (in a metaphorical sense) so badly that it was a metaphorical Trump bloodbath!!

Sorry, these items from reddit are not in chronological order.

@emiliya I watched it in its entirety as well. Kamala Harris baited Trump and quickly got him off track, angry, and defensive. He talked about crowd sizes and eating pets, and jumped from topic to topic leaving thoughts incomplete, spouting patently obvious lies. It was a disaster for Trump - a bloodbath - which is how I introduced these debate quotes after your defense of the word bloodbath.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues Trump has energy, and voters love that. Showing some passion for your country is not the same as showing anger. Donald Trump doesn't need to get angry when he has opposition like Kamala the snake. He did resist her many baits. While Kamala was getting personal and resorting to character assassination, Trump was talking about the country and what Americans care about. He was straightforward, presidential, and patriotic. Kamala the liar did everything to avoid talking about the real problems.

This disaster you speak of never happened; it exists only in the minds of the deluded.
@emiliya What did the 60+ million watchers in the general public think? Almost 2 to 1 the public thought Harris won and Trump lost. Spin all you like, Trump's debate performance was a disaster!

The survey respondents went into Tuesday night's debate split, with 50% saying they expected Trump to win and 50% saying they expected a Harris victory. By the end of the night, however, 63% said Harris came out on top, compared to 37% for Trump.

Broken down by candidate, 96% of Harris' supporters said they thought she won, while 69% of Trump supporters said the former president won.

IVF involves creating more embryos than you generally need, 5-6. They'll implant 1-3 hoping one is viable with an outside chance of twins or triplets. If a pregnancy works they throw away the remaining embryos. This is why fringe extremist pro-lifers are against In Vitro Fertlization. Trump is being either disingenuous or ignorant saying he's for IVF.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@JonLosAngeles66 He's definitely being disingenuous.
. Kamala has said that Donald Trump wants a bloodbath in the US, when he does not.

He liked that the 1/6 riot happened. 🤷‍♂
PowerofStories · 61-69, M
You couldn't be more wrong. The bloodbath line is a quote from Trump's own mouth.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@PowerofStories yes he did. He was referring to the auto industry.
PowerofStories · 61-69, M
@emiliya I am watching the debate and yes I heard his claim that he was talking about the auto industry.

Do you believe that Trump will settle the war in Ukraine before he takes office if he is elected? He is claiming he will.
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@PowerofStories he was refering to dems taking over the govt
He described mass bloody deportations. His words.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@MasterLee "Getting them out will be a bloody story." exact quote
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@JonLosAngeles66 We need to deport for sure
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
"They are eating dogs!"
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Really? Between the two of them, you think it's Kamala doing the lying? Are we somehow watching broadcasts from two different parallel universes?
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LordShadowfire When trump speaks, it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@CestManan agreed. Hey, Donnie. This one's for you.
[media=https://youtu.be/ermFx1tN0Hk]
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LordShadowfire Hey, that baby even has the tRump 'do! 😃

Now that this is wrapping up, I think Harris did pretty awesome.

Trump hasn't said anything about what he plans to do for us, the Americans.

But let's hear his final statement...
Kackler will also start a bloodbath when she starts her attempts to confiscate our firearms, it will be another Lexington and Concord circa 1773.
