Kamala Harris in the US presidential debate

Kamala Harris seems to think we care about her upbringing. She is trying to manipulate Americans. Kamala has said that Donald Trump wants a bloodbath in the US, when he does not. Does she think these cheap, malicious lies are going to make her win?

She also does not want states to determine their abortions laws.

I'll address the word "bloodbath."

Trump has said on several occasions that immigrants in the United States illegally are "poisoning the blood of our country." That's blood, but not "bloodbath."

On March 16, 2024 at a Dayton Ohio rally, Trump predicted the end of U.S. democracy if he loses.

"If we don't win this election, I don't think you're going to have another election in this country," Trump said.

"Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country."

End of Democracy and bloodbath. There you have it.

@LordShadowfire I'll give you that his "bloodbath" comment was ambiguous, but ambiguity is his trademark. At least he hasn't used the word again.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@ElwoodBlues Of course it was ambiguous. That's how he gets you. He uses violent terminology in non-violent sentences, knowing that people will pick up on the violent terminology, and that's how he makes them look bad.

@ElwoodBlues It wasn't ambiguous. Trump is trying to emphasize a point and using descriptive language to do so. If something is going to be a disaster, you can call it a “bloodbath.” We can be harmed by disastrous economic decisions.

Trump has never said that he thinks the blood of Americans is being poisoned. He is a practical guy who couldn't care less about race. What he said is that America is being poisoned by criminal elements from all over the world, with those behind the poisoning being the elites in charge.

His words were: “they poison mental institutions and prisons all over the world, not just in South America, not just to three or four countries that we think about, but all over the world. They’re coming into our country from Africa, from Asia, all over the world.”

You need to start caring about your country and the people living in it, instead of allowing your fellow American to be walked all over. Do you want security and leadership that cares or not? Is a border meant to be secure or not?
@emiliya Trump's remarks WERE ambiguous; if he wanted to impart only what you claim, he could have used the phrase "economic bloodbath." He chose not to. He chose to leave it ambiguous. Just like when he told his supporters "you've got to FIGHT" and "fight much harder" and "fight, fight fight" and then they went and attacked 140 Capitol Police officers, smashed windows, and erected a gallows to "Hang Mike Pence!" A little ambiguity to try and keep the violence at arms length.

@ElwoodBlues Are you not capable of listening to what people say? The remarks were not ambiguous because they were part of many words that Trump spoke when he was addressing this issue at a rally in Ohio, back in March.

Trump said:

China now is building a couple of massive plants where they’re going to build the cars in Mexico and think, they think, that they’re going to sell those cars into the United States with no tax at the border. Let me tell you something to China, if you’re listening President Xi, and you and I are friends, but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now, and you think you’re going to get that, you’re going to not hire Americans, and you’re going to sell the cars to us? No. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars. If I get elected. Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath, for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars.

What is ambiguous about this? He is talking about car manufacturing and tariffs. The media heard the word “bloodbath” and decided to lie, with Biden and Harris then saying Trump wants a bloodbath in America, violence in America. This is an evil, outrageous lie. They are liars.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@emiliya And again, Trump loves throwing that violent imagery into conversations where it's not necessary. He could have used any other word in his vocabulary, and make no mistake, he's got a rather large vocabulary. But he chose to use the word bloodbath It's a psychological tactic.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@LordShadowfire This seems like a case of what you westerners call “victim blaming.” What we saw in Ohio is just Trump's way of expressing himself. He was telling us what he believes the issue with Chinese car manufacturing and US tariffs is, and this is how he described it. He thinks America is a loser.

We cannot blame Trump for the lies from the media. If it were a case of them being lazy, it would still be their fault. It is worse than that because they deliberately paint a false image of Trump and tell your country lies. This is their way of interfering in your “democracy”, and it works on people who aren't paying attention.
@emiliya In what way is Trump the victim here??

Also, perhaps a fact about Chinese electric car tariffs would be useful. Biden already did what Trump promised to do! But that won't stop Trump from claiming credit, will it??
May 14, 2024
President Biden has quadrupled tariffs on electric vehicles from China — from 25% to an eye-watering 100% — in a move designed to bolster U.S. jobs and manufacturing.

"I'm determined that the future of electric vehicles be made in America by union workers. Period," Biden said on Tuesday.

This seems like a case of what you westerners call “victim blaming.”
How is it victim blaming to blame a man who intentionally uses violent language as a psychological tactic? This is a man who lies as easily as you or I breathe.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues You are blaming Trump for the way his comments were deliberately portrayed. It is not the fault of the person saying those words if there is a media and a ruling party that are determined to twist and lie about everything they say. Would it be your fault if you used a word, and people claimed you said something different, something much worse than what you did say? They are doing this with intent.

It is pointless to talk about Biden now. He is not going to be president for much longer. Is he even president now? Is Harris going to stop Americans from buying Chinese cars made in Mexico? What is she going to do?
emiliya · 22-25, F
@LordShadowfire This is the way Trump speaks. The media and the Democrats take his words, and they lie about them.

@LordShadowfire Fact checking has been engineered by the biased media. It is another political tool. What about all the lies Kamala tells? Who is checking her facts? Who checks yours? Trump supporters can deal with him using hyperbole if he cares about the issues they do. Trump will speak a truth and tell us why he thinks it is that way. He says there is less crime in Venezuela because more Venezuelans have entered America. Can you prove this isn't the case? Trump emphasizes the problems, Democrats ignore the problems. You are saying the latter is better. Trump says things to get America to understand what is going on, and the Democrats respond with more lies and more attempts to interfere with the democracy they claim to want to uphold.

Trump is a human talking about human issues. Kamala is a machine within a machine. Why would anyone cast their vote for her? You may as well not vote. It would be more worthwhile for me to go and vote in the Russian elections.
@emiliya Ducking the question. @LordShadowfire is telling you to do you OWN fact checking, not to depend on others.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@ElwoodBlues She won't. She's too busy being told what to think instead. Isn't that right, @emiliya?
emiliya · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues @LordShadowfire

Kamala lied in the debate. Do you have anything to say about that?

You are both Democrats, and this means you are both biased. I do not live in the US; I am observing your politics and making comments about it. I read the information and I listen to what Trump says. He spoke about car manufacturing, and did not share a desire for there to be a “bloodbath” in America. This should be the end of the story, should it not? If you are not wrongly claiming he wants a bloodbath in your nation, you are speculating on his reasons for using words like this one. Why can't you give this man a break?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@emiliya Last time we gave him a break, he incited a riot in order to try to overturn election results, and 40 police officers were hurt. But who cares about our democracy, right? As long as we don't hurt his feelings?
