He's talking about people who don't feel safe and it has no bearing on actually being safe. To answer the question, no I do not live in the kind of fear that's been mentioned. The kind of fear I live in is that the frightened members of society might have too much to say in our rights as Americans and expect us to live in a manner that's more soothing to them. They're the ones who trade liberty for safety. Those are the ones that worry me.

Now my autistic son has meltdowns occasionally and he takes medication for this but after that event in 2016 I do not feel safe around police officers and whenever I see a police officer I feel a little unsafe and I don't want to feel that way but police need training in dealing with special needs because what happened in 2016 as an autistic mom to autistic children I'll be honest the police in my country I do my best to avoid and it's sad that's the case! 😔😔😔

In America they are in almost every house and apartment. I guess Europeans would be fearful because many would stick their hands in the disposal. Europe would have a country full of handless people.
Same goes with ceiling fans. Europeans call them Propellers. Head injuries would be rampant.
Same goes with outlets by the bathroom sinks. Europe would have electrocutions' every day.
The vast majority of American have all these things, and they do not injure themselves.

It might be that some of them, living in fear themselves, just assume everyone else does. Or it could be some of them believe the media lies about the U.S. and its citizens. Or maybe some are just jealous of our President and our freedom, and prefer to think the worst of us.
@GerOttman My grandfather carried a firearm throughout the second world war and for years after to protect his farm and family from demobbed Soviets carrying weapons they should not have had. He did not do this for fun - guns are expensive and inconvenient to carry and maintain, and they can be used to kill people which always disgusted him - he did it primarily out of fear of the motives or the competency of other people carrying weapons.
I don't know about the issue due to fear. Americans do have the hype about guns and cars. Most of the guns are not made to last if used daily without access to spare parts.
