Antifa is Worldwide

WASHINGTON, Nov 13 (Reuters) - The United States on Thursday designated four entities in Germany, Italy and Greece as global terrorists, accusing them of being "violent Antifa groups" as President Donald Trump takes aim at left-wing groups.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement he had designated German-based Antifa Ost as "Specially Designated Global Terrorists," along with three other groups in Greece and Italy, in an effort to build on Trump's "commitment to confront Antifa’s campaign of political violence."

We are told by Democrats that Antifa is a small grass roots group with no leaders and no money. 🤔

Who is Fascist again???

The Democratic Party: Big Government and Control

Historically, and in practice today, the Democratic Party has embraced policies that expand the power of the federal government. Let's examine how some of these policies align with fascist principles:

Authoritarian Tendencies:The Democratic Party has increasingly embraced authoritarian measures, especially during times of crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic saw Democratic governors and lawmakers enact sweeping mandates, from mask mandates to lockdowns, often sidelining legislative bodies and imposing rules by executive decree. In cities like New York and Los Angeles, Democratic leaders enforced some of the strictest pandemic-related restrictions in the country. While public health was cited as the rationale, the willingness to impose such heavy-handed controls with little room for dissent fits into the fascist framework of centralized power.

Suppression of Free Speech[
/b]:Perhaps the most alarming development in recent years has been the Democratic Party’s increasing alignment with big tech companies to control speech. Democrats have repeatedly called on platforms like Facebook, Twitter (now X), and YouTube to censor what they label “misinformation.” This isn't limited to fringe content—it often extends to political viewpoints they disagree with, as seen during the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, when Big Tech suppressed a story that could have had implications for the 2020 presidential election. By encouraging private companies to censor on behalf of the government, Democrats are engaging in practices that echo fascist suppression of dissent.

Economic Control:While America does not have a fully state-controlled economy, the Democratic Party often pushes for policies that greatly expand the government’s influence over private industry. From heavy-handed regulations in sectors like energy (favoring green energy over oil and gas) to pushing for government-run healthcare, the Democrats’ vision is one where the government plays a dominant role in economic decision-making. This recalls Mussolini's “corporatism,” where private enterprise existed but operated under the heavy hand of the state, a hallmark of fascism.
Opposition to Individual Rights:Democratic policies frequently place collective goals above individual freedoms. For example, the push for extreme gun control measures often undermines Second Amendment rights, which are central to the Republican view of individual liberty. Likewise, the party's policies surrounding free speech, compelled speech in the context of gender identity laws, and mandates around healthcare choices undermine individual autonomy.

@ElwoodBlues At first I thought the thing Trump didn’t get a check mark for on the fascist checklist would be dance skills. Fascists are usually good dancers – even Hitler could dance better than Trump. But now I can see a problem for Trump trying to turn the all American hero to his favor. Because Trump is know to be against all the things real hero’s are know for (truth justice and stuff like that. Cheers!
I thought the democrats said antifa was just an idea?

Except that it's been around for about 100 years in Europe...as communists fighting the "far right socialists" 🙄
DogMan · 61-69, M
The fascist policy of centralizing government control over the economy and society is also starkly absent. The Trump administration has been on a mission to shrink the government and its regulatory apparatus, not to grow it. In many cases, the same progressives who shout about fascism are in court suing to maintain the size and reach of the federal government. That’s backwards.

Inseparable from fascism is racism and nativism meaning opposition to immigrants. Even on this score, the epithet fails. Under Trump, naturalizations (i.e., legal immigration) are higher than under Obama. Trump’s first term totaled 2,941,013 new immigrant citizens, or an average of 735,253 per year — and that is including a significant decline during COVID in 2020. Obama averaged 716,490 each year for his two terms, and in both terms fewer immigrants were naturalized. Statistics are not available for 2025, but naturalization ceremonies continue. WHAT? There was more LEGAL immigration[ under Trump than Obama/b]

It’s also worth noting that current legal immigrants mostly originate from Latin American and Asian countries. If Trump were running a fascist, nativist, racist immigration policy, he would probably have restored the old immigration quota system by country — a system not unique at all in the world. But he has not done so, or indicated any intent to do so
.
@DogMan says
The Trump administration has been on a mission to shrink the government and its regulatory apparatus,
Actually, tRump is using tariffs to try to directly control investments and the economy. It's a very heavy-handed form of regulation. And remember when tRump had the treasury buy 10% of Intel corporation? That's pure socialism.

As for "shrinking" government, this year tRump added another $1 trillion to the deficit faster than at any time since Covid. His tariffs and his DOGE cuts certainly haven't shrunk spending.

Inseparable from fascism is racism and nativism — meaning opposition to immigrants.
It means a lot more than that, but let's just take your figure of merit and look at Biden's numbers:
The Biden administration saw 2.7 million naturalizations in FY 2021-2023 and 818,500 in FY 2024
Also, Reagan naturalized 3 million all at once with his 1986 amnesty.

If Trump were running a fascist, nativist, racist immigration policy, he would probably...
Facts please, not speculation.

Examples of Racism in 2025

Meanwhile, the tRump admin and its racist allies are busily suppressing the real history of structural racism and Black progress at the same time that the new Trump regime is preparing to copy from that history directly — particularly its most violent chapters: Slavery, post-Reconstruction and racial segregation of the Jim Crow era, the Tulsa Massacre of 1921, voter suppression, redlining, and police killings of Black Americans.

tRump issued executive orders calling for a review of museums and federal agencies to remove "improper ideology" and content that "inappropriately disparage[s] Americans past or living". One directive from the Interior Secretary ordered the removal of exhibits and materials that emphasize slavery and racial injustice by a specific date.

Due to tRump's racist orders to our National Park Service, dozens of NPS webpages were edited to soften descriptions of slavery and racial injustice. Examples include removing a prominent photo of Harriet Tubman from the Underground Railroad page (later restored due to outcry) and changing "enslaved African Americans" to "enslaved workers".

tRump has been attacking the Smithsonian Institution, particularly the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), has been a key target of the administration, which accused it of promoting "anti-American propaganda" and an "out of control" emphasis on the negatives of slavery. An executive order specifically tasked officials with removing "improper ideology" from the institution.

In the Dept of Defense, there have been reports of the removal of thousands of pages and images honoring contributions of people of color from Defense Department websites, as well as efforts to change the names of naval ships honoring Black leaders.

Far right wing extremism worldwide contributes to more domestic terrorism by far.

Key trends and statistics

Increased attacks: One report noted a 320% increase in far-right extremist attacks between 2014 and 2018 in North America, Western Europe, and Oceania.

Rising deaths: Fatalities from far-right terrorist attacks also increased significantly in the years leading up to 2019.

Growing threat perception: Member states have expressed concern that far-right extremism is the fastest-growing domestic security threat.

Increased activity: The Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2019 noted that deaths attributed to far-right groups increased by 52% in 2018 compared to the previous year.

Recruitment: The rise is attributed to recruitment from right-wing populist supporters and conspiracy theorists, with the pandemic potentially energizing and exposing them to new audiences.

International scope: Far-right extremism is not limited to one country, with various countries reporting increased activity, such as Germany's Identitäre Bewegung (Identitarian Movement) and the Reichsbürger (Citizens of the Reich) ideology.

Long-term trends: Some sources have pointed to fluctuations, but recent data indicate a sustained and growing threat, although not uniform across all countries.

Antifa uses many of the same tactics as the Nazis used against the Jews. They censored the Jews, they damaged their
property, and prevented them from organizing, or promoting their beliefs.

What are the historical roots of antifa?
The roots of antifa trace back to the interwar period, specifically to resistance movements against the rise of fascism in Italy and Germany. Antifa was inspired by antifascist movements that emerged throughout Europe.

What tactics does antifa use?
Antifa uses tactics such as “deplatforming” fascists, doxing, property damage at protests, and disrupting right-wing events. Its members aim to prevent fascist opponents from organizing or promoting their beliefs.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco If the illegal methods were to be eliminated there would be no antifa
DogMan · 61-69, M

The Left deplatforms ANYONE that does not tow the Woke-Progressive line. Under the pretense that ANYONE that isn't
Progressive, is a Fascist.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@ViciDraco Antifa is a left wing ideology, that suppresses anyone that does not agree with them politically.

The Fascist moniker is attached because it's the worst word they could find, and they know the rubes will eat it up.

Do you know what Laura Loomer was talking about when she said the GOP has a Nazi problem?

She was talking about some guy named Nick Fuentes. He hates the Jews and Israel, and he was allowed to speak on Tucker Carlsons show.

Oh yeah? Just one guy on one TV show, that's the entirety of Loomer's concern??

Oh, wait, https://x.com/LauraLoomer/status/1990816121763553498

People can get mad at me for saying this, but it’s true.

I have no problem with people criticizing Israel. I even said end aid to Israel.

But let’s admit this isn’t about Israel.

When you have top podcasters saying Jewish Americans are disloyal, saying Trump is controlled by Jews, saying Jews need to self deport to Israel, Gen Z glorifying Hitler and doing Seig Hiels all over Tik Tok, @TuckerCarlson
infiltrating movements to say the people who killed Jesus killed Charlie Kirk at Charlie’s memorial, and acceptance of videos portraying Jews as cockroaches, and glorification of people who go around saying the N world and calling Jews k*kes and saying Hitler is cool and we should have let him win WW2….

That is a Nazi problem.

If the GOP doesn’t address this, then they deserve to lose the midterms. And yes, it will cost us the midterms.

Hitler Larping and Obsessively talking about Israel doesn’t appeal to everyday Americans. Telling Christian Zionists they are THE WORST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD isn’t going to win elections.

Good luck losing in 2026 and 2028!

There is zero moral clarity in the GOP right now.

We have a Nazi problem in the GOP. And the Muslims on the Left are loving this because they too want to spew Nazi like rhetoric against Jews.

Get mad at me for saying this.

I DO NOT CARE BECAUSE IT IS TRUE.

“Global Jewry” is a Nazi talking point. It has nothing to do with foreign policy.

I will not unite with this. And neither will majority of the GOP base.

We are likely going to lose the midterms over this nihilistic Nazi love fest.

I’ll be here to say I told you so.

Seems to me, @DogMan, that Loomer's concerns are a lot bigger than what you said. But hey, maybe you're right and she's wrong about
top podcasters saying Jewish Americans are disloyal, saying Trump is controlled by Jews, saying Jews need to self deport to Israel, Gen Z glorifying Hitler and doing Seig Hiels all over Tik Tok
@DogMan Nice AI generated red herring!!

LOL!!! Your AI generated result merely said you can't be certain; it didn't PROVE anything. But of course you can NEVER be certain of ANYTHING; that's the nature of reality.

AND. Nothing in what I posted mentioned party affiliation. It talked about far right vs far left. The FBI can make reasonable guesses, based on social media postings etc, whether a person is far right or far left. Here, take another look at it.

Fatalities resulting from attacks by far right wing violent extremists have exceeded those caused by radical Islamist violent extremists in 10 of the 15 years, and were the same in 3 of the years since September 12, 2001. Of the 85 violent extremist incidents that resulted in death since September 12, 2001, far right wing violent extremist groups were responsible for 62 (73 percent) while radical Islamist violent extremists were responsible for 23 (27 percent).

And when we move beyond mass shootings, hate crime stats are dominated by hate crimes committed by right-wing extremists:
In November 2018, the Federal Bureau of Investigation released its annual hate crime incident report, which found that in 2017, hate crimes increased by approximately 17 percent, including a 23-percent increase in religion-based hate crimes, an 18-percent increase in race-based crimes, and a 5-percent increase in crimes directed against LGBT individuals. The total number of reported hate crimes rose for the third consecutive year. The previous year's report found that in 2016, hate crimes increased by almost 5 percent, including a 19-percent rise in hate crimes against American Muslims; additionally, of the hate crimes motivated by religious bias in 2016, 53 percent were anti-Semitic. Similarly, the report analyzing 2015 data found that hate crimes increased by 6 percent that year. Much of the 2015 increase came from a 66-percent rise in attacks on American Muslims and a 9-percent rise in attacks on American Jews. In all three reports, race-based crimes were most numerous, and those crimes most often targeted African Americans.

And that's why Trump's own FBI director said that the greatest domestic terrorist threat today is white supremacists.

All these groups more likely vote republican you know they're not voting for a pro trans rights politician or an immigrant unless that immigrant is willing to poo on their own race.

Furthermore there's a decline in extremist groups but this is because they are getting embedded with mainstream politics and may not be considered as extreme.

The bright spot here is domestic members now have a place to go of their choosing in Germany, Italy and Greece when Trump ceremoniously blasts their biscuits out of this nation.
