Yes - it started in 2014 when Russia invaded Ukraine.

If Trump needs to distract from the Epstein files further, then sure, why not?
AbstractWave · 61-69, M
Yes, unless we remove the trump administration very soon.

With the US focusing a lot of it's energy on Iran and expending Billions of $ a day on ammunition, ($2.5M missiles being used to kill $30k drones) their focus has been taken away from Taiwan so it's unlikely that China will invade Taiwan for now but it's still not impossible if China sees an opportunity to take Taiwan without US Interference though Japan might have something to say about it. I don't think we'll see a "World War" where it's boots on the ground and Army vs Army any more, just look at Russia being unable to take Ukraine after more than 3 years, there are far too many drones and missiles being built so that may be the next major conflict and who knows who would win that type of non-nuclear War?

Looks that way, don't it?

A stronger NATO? Yes, I think so. A Civil War in the US? More than likely, that'll happen soon.
A World War? I'd like to think - hope - that the majority of countries aren't that dumb to do that....
But...
🤷

Quite possibly, with Trump siding with Putin and encouraging him to invade one of the EU countries.

WWIII started in 1949... it is still unfolding.

cyber attacks are becoming very common. hospitals and small towns are being held hostage as well as large corporations and even nations are being attacked. drones are also becoming the weapon of choice.

Did we head to world war when 1 and 2 happened?

Not directly with Iran as the flash point, but we are at an elevated risk of China trying to annex Taiwan by force. And that could cause WW3, potentially.

You can thank Nancy Pelosi for that. US politicians are always interfering in affairs of other countries instead of minding the business of Americans in their own constituencies. Lyndsey Graham is another busybody more concerned about Israel than South Carolina that he represents.
If you see a child complaining about its father or mother, would you give the child a gun to shoot its parents?
US is providing arms to Taiwan and trying to set up military base in Taipei.
Hong Kong and Macau act independently of the Chinese government also. Taiwan is not recognize as a country by the world community including the US.
Taiwan has its own military and does not allow the Chinese military to operate on is soil.

Taiwan's government acts independently of the Chinese government. Taiwan has de facto embassies in other countries and vice versa. Taiwan is not a part of China, it's a country unto itself.

@sree251 88% of Taiwanese people want Taiwan to remain de facto independent. US military & politicians are in Taiwan because Taiwan wants us there.
That ain't true, Hong Kong & Macau have more autonomy than the rest of China, but Chinese law still applies to these regions. Thus, they are not independent.

No. The attack on Iran will be very limited. Congress in the United States has not yet declared war. It is a legal action by the US President in response to Iranian negotiators who bragged that they still had enough enriched uranium to make ELEVEN nuclear bombs DURING negotiations in which the United States asked for a pledge never to enrich uranium.
AFTER 60 days, the action by the President will no longer be legal. Of course, by then, Iran will be pulverized into the stone age.
